This website isn't any different from other Roleplaying forums. You can try other ones, but they're not as active as the Guild. Going off of what ArenaSnow said, have you tried to reach out to other RPers yourself? If you're that desperate for RP, I was thinking you might've at least tried a group Roleplay before deciding that the site sucks. But by implying that other people on here aren't "serious writers like you", maybe attitude is a factor as to why you're not finding RP offers. 

You could always try Iwaku, RPNation, or the best of all, [s]ROBLOX[/s] Habbo Hotel if you don't really want to stay on the Guild though.
