Chiaki Uehara
An even larger, almost Cheshire grin tore at Chiaki's lips once Phantom Step went on cooldown and her pal said that she was allowed in on the party. Even if she didn't know them, she kinda assumed that by association with Meren they were alright enough. Besides, now she'd have a mobile captive audience to help kill some oni. Taking a peek at the party status screen once her request was accepted, the foxtail would kind of look over the party members. "Double Assassin, Samurai, Cleric, aaand Me." she said in her thoughts. Lots of damage, a little healing, and a smidgen of off-tanks. That wouldn't be so great...although, maybe she'd be able to use her Lion Dirge to mitigate Hate along with Battle Conduct. Regardless, the foxtail came out of hiding her racial features with her tail and ears poofing back into existence where they rightfully ought to be. Fluffy Crises averted, Chiaki would use her Phantom Step once more to zoom around her party members to get a look at their general gear. Maybe if one assassin specialized in ranged attacks that would be better...but none of them seemed to have a bow or crossbow. "Well, if we don't have anyone else, we'll just have to manage a couple extra roles. Lemme know if any of your MP bars start needing a boost. Let's get ready to kick some ass!" she said, afterimages vanishing before her fingers danced across the strings of her guitar, a gentle melody coming out despite the rather ghastly appearance of her instrument. A lightness of feet and a feeling of energy would be in everyone's feet as the Fawn's March took effect. It wasn't super speed, but it sure was nice to not have to waste time. Especially since Meren had one heavy shield. Regardless of whether the party was actually behind her or not, Chiaki would begin walking wherever the heck they were supposed to be going, practically skipping and clicking the heels of her boots together as she went. She seemed...way too pumped for this, keeping the song going even as she bounded down the street.
