[/quote] Oh, I read 'passed' instead of 'past'. Sorry about that. Yeah, that's far more believable. I don't know if there's historical precedent for squires being knighted 2-3 years early, but this world clearly isn't meant to be a 100% exact mirror of medieval society. Due to the magic, fictional countries, and such (and the festival where the royal children might have to end up marrying peasants.)
