"Tocsax says she's one of the Princesses we're looking for," said Seth, partially answering Mai's question about the strange ship sending only one person, "odds are she can handle herself. She sounds pretty angry too, so I'd bet my cloak she's the one giving the orders on that ship." whatever the reason for her coming down here, Seth was determined to track her down. Speaking of the Nobody, he was being surprisingly serious. Not quite the chuckling prankster he usually presented himself as. For this particular situation he couldn't afford not to take things seriously. Mai objected to the idea of ignoring the small Heartless, wishing to fight them off and help bystanders. Mantis seemed to share this sentiment, "If we just let Heartless run rampant aren't we no better than those you're fighting against?" Unfortunately that meant Seth was outnumbered on the matter, though he tried to continue with his original plan at first. And then the bigger Heartless started showing up. A Large Body made to throw his fist at a woman trying to protect her child. "Damn it!" muttered a frustrated Seth. He suddenly darted ahead, faster than Mantis or likely Mai could move. Next thing anyone knew, the Nobody had put himself in front of the woman in time to actually catch the Large Body's punch, stopping the attack dead in its tracks. With another swift motion, Seth twisted his body around and actually flung the big brute of a Heartless right smack into another Large Body that had spawned nearby, "I hate being one of the good guys..." he muttered again, but noticed the grateful look on the mother's face before she ran away with her child to somewhere hopefully safer, "...sometimes." he admitted. Seemed Mai and Mantis were getting their wish for the time being. Of course, that meant whatever time they used protecting people was more time for that wayward Princess to get away from them. Or maybe not, from a corner a little further ahead the shape of a Guard Armor crashed into the side of a nearby building, the Heartless practically broken to pieces from the attack. Then, from around that corner came running a woman in silvery armor, definitely not a native of this world. She wasn't alone either, it looked like she was escorting a small group of native citizens. Before the Guard Armor could stand itself up a bunch of spears made of light just erupted from the ground below it, skewering the Heartless and destroying it completely. The woman's group was being pursued by another pair of Guard Armors that were on their heels. When the woman turned to face them, Seth glimpsed her cape and recognized the symbol etched in it as the same one from the unidentified ship. It was her. "Mantis!" Seth shouted, pointing in the woman's direction so he would know their target was within sight. Mantis - who had just finished using his psychokinesis to fling away a group of attacking Shadows before hurling crates and barrels at them - offered a nod of acknowledgement and concentrated his attention in her direction in an attempt to read her mind. With that objective underway, Seth looked to Mai and made sure to signal to her that they had a pair of incoming Guard Armors to deal with before finally darting in that direction himself. Elise, for her trouble, had found herself leading a group of citizens to safety. While her primary goal was the Keyhole, her honor as a knight would not allow her to ignore those in need. The situation was not helped by the appearance of a trio of Guard Armors, likely due entirely to her ownership of a Keyblade. She stood strong though, deciding immediately that she could feel remorseful after she'd successfully saved these people. When one of the Guard Armors lunged for her, she reflexively summoned a shield of light around her and the group she protected. The Heartless's attack bounced off the shield harmlessly and instead the demon was sent flying back into a nearby building. Finally, an opening for her and the group to escape. She led the group around the corner with the other two Guard Armors hot on their heels. She was able to use spears of light to finish off the first Guard Armor, and once she was no longer flanked by the brutes she turned to fight the other two in earnest. "Attack if you dare, Heartless!" she announced, her voice loud and bold for all to hear, "But as God as my witness, you shall not pass!" by now she summoned her weapon, a Keyblade of all things. If it weren't for the key-like teeth on the tip, it could have been mistaken for some kind of regal sword. The hilt was that of a sword, and even the hand-guard was rounded and only present on one side, like the guard of a saber or rapier. The way she summoned the blade was odd as well. Most Keyblade wielders simply held out their hand and willed the weapon into existence. Elise instead did so only after reaching toward her hip, as if drawing the blade from some invisible scabbard like a knight drawing their sword for battle.
