[i]Petite and somewhat short, [url=http://i.imgur.com/Czc0cvm.jpg]Sylvia Quinn[/url] has long and flowing pink hair, often tied behind with the use of a black hair tie. At the tips of her hair, Sylvia has colored the ends of her hair light blue. On the top of her head, Sylvia has a stand of hair that refuses to stay down, to which she has gone to the extent of wearing a large blue cap that matches her hair tips to hide it from others. Clipped to the side of the hat is a Swanna pin, gifted to Sylvia by her mother, a Mistralton native that had moved to Kalos upon marriage.

In terms of clothing, Sylvia wears a stylish set of clothes that one would expect a model (or someone with a lot of money) to wear. Sylvia's boots are brown, with the collars outwards to keep her jean cuffs from being ruffled by the thick leather. A belt, also brown, keeps her slim-fit jeans in place, although the free-flowing cream shirt Sylvia wears hides the belt from sight along with most of the black and white polka-dot shirt she uses as an undershirt. While Sylvia has little in terms of actual formal wear, for sleep wear she shamelessly has a Slyveon onesie that her mother thought was cute enough for Sylvia to use on her adventures.

Finally, for other accessories, Sylvia wears two bracelets--one green and the other pink--on her right arm. In order to carry her supplies and necessities, Sylvia carries a rugged travelling backpack that holds various items such as pokémon food and pokéballs, as well human-related objects like spare changes of clothing, reusable dishes and blankets to get her through what waits for Sylvia during her adventures. Additionally, Sylvia also carries a small light blue purse with a strap that goes around her shoulder to carry valuables, although she often prefers to keep it safe in her pack, away from potential thieves or any sort of harm.[/i]

[i]Like her appearance suggests, Sylvia enjoys taking the time to look nice for the occasion, from making sure her clothing is clean, and as well stylish. This also includes her pokémon, where (in the case of her starter) Sylvia will take a brush early in the morning to cleanse dirt and other particles away before taking the time to give them a bath if a nearby water source exists. Additionally, Sylvia has a sweet tooth for sweets and anything sweetly flavored food and beverage, preferring it over any other possible flavor such as salty or spicy.

There is much to explore in the world, and Sylvia wishes to see it all. As such, Sylvia dislikes people who care to sleep in on a beautiful day, believing that they should be instead outside exploring the world. However, this often leads to another dislike of hers, as some pokémon (such as bug types) are more than capable of startling Sylvia. Also, while Sylvia loves sweet food, she absolutely despises anything sour, partly because of the taste and partly because of the forced facial expressions upon tasting the sourness. 

For personal flaws, Sylvia has two major flaws that stick out more than any other possible flaw. Wherever she goes, Sylvia has a habit of tripping--sometimes over nothing--and falling flat on her face that often leads to cuts and bruises on her body. However, even after falling down, Sylvia refuses to admit that she is a klutz and will try to blame the fault on something that had nothing to do with her falling. In battle, Sylvia has a habit of clutching one--if not both--of her hands into fists, which is a clear sign that she most likely either at a loss or second guessing herself.

Sylvia has many skills and hobbies to speak of, but the most well known would be her ability to cook. Her mother learned by cooking the vegetables on the outskirts of Mistralton, and sought to pass the knowledge to her daughter, Sylvia, along with other useful household skills. However, Sylvia also had her father's adventurous spirit, and her father taught Sylvia about various survival traits if Sylvia was to ever go on the same adventures he had done as a youth. Thanks to the help of her father, Sylvia is capable of using berries to her advantage, allowing Sylvia the ability to prepare homemade pastes to use as medicine or as food for pokémon.

In general, Sylvia is just a kindhearted girl that wishes to be nice to everyone (unless they're caught sleeping in) she meets throughout her journeys in the various regions of the world. Nevertheless, the innocent friendliness that Sylvia tries to show everyone is also one of her downfalls. Sylvia is extremely fragile with her emotions, and if someone purposely or even accidentally acts rudely to Sylvia, she takes it directly by heart. If such a thing happens, Sylvia will take off in a depressed mood, feeling as if she isn't wanted, only finding solace in the few pokémon she calls her dearest partners.[/i]

[i]Sylvia prefers most types, with certain types such as flying (due to her Mistralton heritage) and fairy being her favorite. That being said, Sylvia is more than likely to pick certain pokémon based on their appearance (for instance, based on their coolness or cuteness) over type, giving less preferred types like poison or ghost a chance to be added to her collection. It was also the factor in Sylvia's decision to choose Eevee over any of the other pokémon as she had taken an interest in the Eevee's cuteness.

Being an inexperienced battler, Sylvia is extremely hesitant within her battles. While Sylvia tries her best, she often delays her commands as she second guesses herself, wondering if it would be better to wait or attack now to avoid falling into a trap and losing. This often leads to longer and drawn-out battles when Sylvia has the clear advantage as she questions how lucky she might be. Terrain is one of her downfalls on the battlefield, where Sylvia is hesitant to use it and is also often worried that using the terrain might play against her in some way, shape or form.[/i]
