Despite his lack of physical presence, he can be quite energetic around people he's comfortable with, though the opposite is true when he gets nervous.

Sam is British, but his parents moved to Japan just before his quirk awakened. Already feeling an outcast, his sheer difference from everybody else made him a complete loner for many years. Delving into the realms of fantasy, Sam was enamoured by the traditional interpretation of the Hero, and decided to become one himself. So he entered Komei Acadamy, hoping to become a beacon of light and smite the darkness of evil,
