[@Tackytaff] Their duties would likely be confined to the city, so at the very least it's not a [i]priority[/i] as there's criminals operating closer to home to look out for. However, if they were fencing stolen goods in the Royal City itself, it would maybe be something to stamp down on, and even something for actual-terrible-guardsman Faolán to be involved in.

...which might also be of interest to [@Thorn], too. What if, in the run up to the Festival, there was an effort to crack down on all this Definitely Illegal Activity? I'm not sure where I'm going with this, but there could definitely be a side-plot around here somewhere, assuming the characters aren't all busy finding their One True Heterosexual Love and making out in broom closets.
