This is Donny’s true form, as he has no “human” form to revert back to. He sleeps, eats, and lives like this. The what mask isn’t a part of him either, and is actually part of his “hero outfit”, mostly so he has something he can talk to other people with.

The “Meat Bag”, as he calls it. It’s a synthetic suit made to look like a normal human being from the outside, but on the inside there’s nothing. Donny “fills up” the body with his own slime-like one in order to pretend to look like a normal person for day-to-day activities. When he wants to do hero work, he simply goes back to his “true form”, albeit wearing a white mask. Donny can “consume” his meat bag and spit it out later.

Personality:
Sensitive but passionate, Donny isn’t what you’d expect a blob monster to be like. Quite aware of his own appearances he tries his best not to look “scary”, and often frets about what others think about him. Having been harshly bullied as a youth Donny tends to be scared of others, especially “strong” people, because he fears that they will bully him for what he looks like and no one will stop them because of their strength. While he has his own baggage Donny genuinely does want to do good, and feels the need to be the person he wishes could have saved him when he was a child. He wants to be able to show the world that he may look like a monster, but he has the heart of a hero.

There is a darker side to Donny that he doesn’t like to reveal to others but secretly revels in; the part of him that plays pretend and, for a moment, indulge in his own vices. This “Dark Donny” can play the part of a witty, charming manipulator, saying lies as easily as he can the truth. This darker side of Donny was born in reaction to the bullying he suffered in his youth, a sort of shadow persona created to protect Donny’s fragile mental state from those he deems “evil”. He isn’t too sure if this side of him is malevolent or simply more concerned about Donny’s well being over others; he rationalizes it as his own self-preservation manifested in spiritual form. That and he might be a touch insane. Donny wouldn’t be a good judge of his own mental state.

Background:
Donny wasn’t always born the way he looks right now. He was a normal baby born to a normal pair of parents. They had fairly minor quirks, and they didn’t think their son would have adopted anything too major. Until he was four years old, and suddenly his body… Shifted. He became sluggish at first, and had a hard time standing on his feet. One day when he woke up, his body was gone. He was just a mass of flesh. A week later his skin turned black. His hair fell off. And he became some sort of… Monster.

His family was horrified. Donny was horrified. They thought something terrible had happened to their son and they took him to an emergency hospital to see if he could be saved, if this affliction could be cured. But the news they got was horrible; Donny wasn’t suffering from any disease or poison. This was his quirk; he was going to be sentient slime.

Donny didn’t know how to live this life. He was horrified by it. His parents were both angry but also tried to be helpful. Though Donny turned out like this, they still loved him as much as they could. But they didn’t know how to help him. When Donny returned to school he was mercilessly picked on for what he was. Kids had cooler, more controllable quirks than he did. They bullied him relentlessly, writing mean things on his desk and locker, stuffing him into jars and bottles, even throwing salt on him for some reason. It got so bad that they did this in front of other teachers and parents, yet no one stepped in for Donny. No one saved him. Shortly after Donny had to stay at home to hide away from the world. His parents supported him the entire way, constantly looking for a way to help their freakish son.

As for Donny, this would’ve made a decent origin story for a villain. Shunned by society, looking like the way he does, with no one but his family to support him. But Donny did find solace through the internet. He could use the keyboards just fine. Through the internet Donny could pretend that he wasn’t a monster, that the world he lived in was a kind and gentle one. It was also on the internet that Donny could release his frustrations and cultivate a sense of self. And most importantly, it was on the internet that Donny could find the heroes he’s been seeking.

He watched all sorts of news clips, animes, and other media sources about the various heroes around the world. From the great and powerful All Might, to the more humble and even unpowered Mumen Rider. Even when exposed to more vile sources like villains and violent video games, Donny desired to be a hero. He wanted to be the one who’ll be there for people like him, when the world would reject you.

Though homeschooled, Donny would eventually finish his middle school education and had his sights for a hero academy. Somewhere far away from where he lived, where no one could judge him for what he looked like. A nice place where he could finally be himself without ridicule. His mother found him such a place: Komei Academy.

Quirk:
Black beast - Donny’s quirk manifests as a mutation that makes him a rather large, amorphous black blob. While it makes him look horrific, it’s actually quite powerful. Donny is highly resistant against physical attacks, as blades just past right through him, and blunt attacks just bounce off or cause his body to jiggle a bit. He has a tar-like consistency that allows people to grab him, but it’s also quite sticky. Donny can store things inside his body as if it was one huge pocket, and they’re fairly unharmed, though it’s not suggested that he puts living things inside of him unless they can hold their breath. Donny can also create bony appendages from his body, usually hands, but he can also create teeth, tentacles, and even wings. He can’t fly with them though. A notable quirk of his powers is that Donny is capable of consuming anything by absorbing it through his body: not only can he poisons, rancid, or outright inedible things, they all taste delicious to him. He can also eat them quickly; he just absorbs it into his body and it’s gone. It helps if they don’t struggle. This allows him to consume things like bombs no problem, as his body instantly breaks it down before they can explode.

There is a certain limit to his body however; he’s notable weak against fire, ice, and electrical based attacks, and his entire body is very sensitive towards temperature in general. And while he is shapeless and doesn’t have a face or any visible organs, he still can only look in one direction. That direction isn’t [i]always[/i] where his mask is pointing, but it is in a good indicator of which way he’s looking. Oddly enough, while he can eat poisonous things without harm he can still be poisoned if it’s forcefully injected into him. He can also get sick, suffocate, and exhausted. He can also get hungry, though usually he can eat anything to fill full again, even if it’s not “food”.  Lastly, despite being an amorphous blob he can actually be killed conventionally to death, as there’s only so much slack his body can give before it starts to hurt him. Thus he can still be killed by bullets, getting stabbed to death, crushed underneath rocks, or even getting chopped in half. He’s just more resistant to it than others are.

Talents: 
Although he finds everything he eat delicious, Donny has a sharp palate that allows him to notice subtle tastes in food, which he has used to become an excellent chef. Eating is something of a hobby of his, and he not only eats a lot, but also eats well. He understands that not everyone can eat everything like he can, so he has practiced cooking to make sure he can make good food for others too.

Donny has a knack for slipping through places others can’t. While he doesn’t necessarily like being crushed, he can tolerate it for a little while if all he needs to do is slip between a crack or fit inside a water bottle.
