Hazel Baker It burned. Her throat burned. Her world shook and turned upside down, but her screams drowned out even the pain from the shards of glass cutting her skin. Hazel only noticed everything had stopped once the extra cuffs came off her, freeing her from most of that feeling of mental suppression. Emma seemed alright, as with the rest that she could see. There seemed to be a few injured among them, but those can be healed. They did have people who can heal wounds among them after all. No, what she was fixated on was the monsters rampaging through the city. The rumble of the giant's footsteps, every move it made, every time it destroyed something. It sang to her, the destruction, the noise, the sheer chaos. She wanted to... No... She needed to fight. Something, anything to make that music louder. Even if her body breaks. It only took her but a moment to run back into her room, taking off the robe and leaving only the oversized shirt on, before putting on the chainmail she had piled neatly into a drawer. Zoe had already disappeared, apparently going after the ooze. "Transmit. This is Hazel Baker. Engaging the ice giant," She blinked, pausing for a moment. "Recommend retreating. Over." Hazel only stopped for a moment beside Emma, to hand her the white collar she always wore. Without a word more, she projected a large fist around herself and launched herself into the sky. With another projection she threw herself upwards again, and again, moving faster and faster as she did so. With a final throw, she redirected her flight path towards the ice giant. Not directly at it, but aiming for somewhere just to the right of the creature. She didn't need to go directly at it after all. Projecting a huge 30 meter sword, again an almost exact replica of the sword she bought, she swung it straight towards the middle of the ice giant as she flew past it, activating all her abilities at once, ensuring anything she cut would explode.
