Can I ask, since we are starting in the Tribal era so I'm guessing around 5,000 bc if to use our worlds timeline as an example, will our characters have to look the part?
So rough, rugged looks, typically bearded for the men etc. or because we are Gods do we have the capability to have our own special looks?

@Leos Klien You can have cute anime baby faces if that's the sort of character you want to play :D Just no pictures of a character in jeans and a t-shirt with phones and stuff.

Also, blellow definitely is the best colour. You have chosen well...

Yes, how will our appearance change upon reincarnation? Do we chose what we look like after each death or maybe it would be randomized... In terms of gender as well?

@MaeGotcha, I typically stay away from the anime faces, last resort for me if I can't find what I'm after.
Also, can my Charry be a Dark God? Only asking because when I get excited for a roleplay I start making my CS, or at least a draft pretty much straight away >.>"

@ihinkaOh yeah I'm putting an FAQ together for things like that, I'll have it up soon :D

If a character dies and is reborn, will he be reborn with a different appearance/name/traits and the like?

That is entirely up to the player.
The god form will almost never change. Players can adapt their mortal forms between incarnations if they so wish. If you like a particular incarnation alot, you can keep as many details and tide them over as appropriate.

Obviously, there will need to be tweaking in between incarnations to bios.


You can of course switch genders and age and stuff as you see fit, but it's entirely up to the player what they want to play.

@Leos Klien yes Dark Gods are very much a faction to play!! We'll need a few bad guys in the mix ;D

@Mae How are the timelines going to work, I wonder? Can everyone choose what era/situation to be reborn into? Because that'd almost make it like a series of 1x1s or small groups contained in one large RP (even though I'd like the freedom of it). And if that's the case, how can it be ensured that one player is not alone in their timeline and has some others to interact with?

Or will the whole thing be more centralised, with everyone (or most people) always playing one era out before collectively moving to the next? Some kind of hybrid, perhaps?

@MateotisWe progress through the eras as a group together :D People who die early can still interact with people as ghosts and also gain access to other realms where plot information can be learnt and other aspects of the roleplay experienced.

People who aren't afraid to kill their characters off (e.g. use their most powerful ability) to benefit the narrative will be rewarded, since character death can be difficult to adjust to when it doesn't happen too often in most roleplays.

There may also be voting for which era people want to play in when we approach the end of an era.

@MiddleEarthRoze yes no limit on characters, but bare in mind you'll be playing all of them for the duration of the roleplay, so only play as many as you are sure you'll be comfortable with :3
