Penelope sat restlessly by the fire. She was not eager for them to return, especially since she had no idea how she was going to face Crow. Between his fling with Olivia and the possibility she had feelings for the thief, Penelope wondered how she was suppose to act. Normal would have been the answer but she thought of the many times she had blushed in front of him and worried that if things continued like that, he might discover her true feelings. He must never know.. She told herself. The sound of approaching footsteps quickly caught her attention. She felt her heart sink as she knew it must be the two returning to camp. Though it did seem rather soon. Penelope had never spent the night with a man before but she had been around Olivia enough to feel that their return was a lot sooner than expected. She didn’t dwell long on that and quickly glanced over to confirm that it was Crow and Olivia. When she only saw Crow, Penelope felt a bit confused. Why hadn’t the knight returned with him? She was suppose to stay with them until the next day after all. Penelope quickly turned her gaze back to the fire. Her expression remained static despite her feelings and thoughts. “You’re back sooner than I expected.” The knight mused without looking at him. “And you’re alone... What happened to Olivia?”
