Penelope felt as though a heavy weight was lifted off her shoulders as Crow claimed that nothing had occurred between him and Olivia. She looked over at him, about to question the truth of his words, until she caught the disappointment in his tone as he continued. A pang of guilt hit her for feeling so relieved. She pursed her lips together and looked back to the fire as she crossed her arms over her chest. “I suppose it wouldn’t....” She muttered quietly. Of course it wouldn’t. A knight and thief together was a ridiculous thought. She just wished it actually felt ridiculous when she thought of Crow that way. She was pulled out of her thoughts as Crow flashed her a smile. Penelope looked over at him and smiled faintly in return. “Thanks...” she said before shuffling to stand up. The knight paused, still feeling slightly guilty and not wanting to leave Crow when he seemed quite down. For some reason, she just couldn’t leave him like that. Penelope frowned slightly and ruffled Crow’s hair. “Sorry some knights are like that... It wouldn’t be that way if they only looked past the criminal thing. Even if only for a second.” Penelope reassured in a soft voice. “You should get some sleep too, Crow.” She added before turning and walking off to settle down for the night.
