Her quirk is suspected to be genetic, as both her parents had similar fish-based abilities. Trisha had always wanted to become a hero, but despite having the full support of her family, she considered this to be nothing more than a dream. Trisha was well aware of how selfish she could sometimes be, but she couldn't bear the thought of burdening her parents even more; the amount of money they would have to spend for such an education was just too much.
