Yeah it was during Blackest Night when a few DCU characters got the multi colored rings. The Flash had a blue ring, Mera had a red ring, the Atom had an Indigo ring and staff, etc.

[@Afro Samurai] Don't give GJ all the credit, the artist Ethan Van Sciver came up with a lot of the concepts seen during the War of Light [he came up with the majority of the Red and Orange Lantern stuff IIRC...]

Geoff's Aquaman was right up there, and I loved the Others as a team. They didn't stand a chance in their own book without Geoff attached though.
