She is never one to ask for help and never expects anyone to be willing to help her. However she knows the expectations of her are very different and often fills a very care giving role. Juniper is a very social person and prefers to maintain a circle of friends, who she goes to the ends of the earth to please, often sacrificing her own wants and needs. She is against unnecessary conflict and can often act as a mediator, although she does posses a lot of unresolved anger from her childhood. She maintains the idea that to others she is seen as particularly useless or weak and is constantly trying to prove them wrong. So Juniper was the kid who always got forgotten. No one came to her recitals or hung her art projects on the fridge. She was always vying for attention she would never get. Her parents failed her expectations time after time, it was clear they were more focused on her brothers. Juniper could not accept this favoritism. She felt that if she showed her parents and the world that she could do just as much as her brothers, if not more, that maybe she would be accepted as they were. Juniper threw herself into sport after sport in elementary school, earning occasional small signs of approval from her parents which just drove her to do more. She found that she could not stick with many of these sports even though it could mean the approval of her parents. Towards the end of elementary school she became interested in martial arts, something about the basic karate classes she was able to take struck a chord with her. Juniper was never the best at it, she did not have the most skill but she stuck with it. Going on to practice in high school where she branched into boxing and mixed martial arts. She never participated in any sort of competition because as good as it felt to lay into a punching bag, she did not get the same feeling from fighting most people. When Juniper graduated her parents revealed to her that they did not have the money to pay for her university, they were able to give her some assistance but they did not want to drain resources from her younger brother. The first year was paid for, the second she struggled to make it through. Juniper realized that she would have to take a year off at least to avoid going deep into debt. As she was looking for a job she came across an add for a scientific project, later after screening and background checks she would find out it was Project P.H.O.B.I.A., an experiment that would change her life. Theme: TBA
