[@TJByrum] Could we possibly use our own ingenuenity to think up weapons that our soldiers could use? For example, I would like to play as a group who would be more of a supportive ranged role, using modified ballistas and throwing flaming ordenance on the enemy. Of course this would be highly TKing, but the destruction would be worth it. 

Ps: I assume there is no gunpowder in this setting.
