Name: Judah Manet Alias: Formerly known as Triune, Recently adopted the name “Judgement” Age: 21 Personality: Indecisive, Spacey, Relaxed, Distinct, Compliant Archetype: Mystic Powers: Three power sets? WHAAAT??? Judah’s powers are derived from 3 entities, his own spirit, a demon and an angel. All 3 are bound together and depending on how he decides to handle a situation, he gets different powers. His normal state is his Neutral/Purgatory. Neutral/Purgatory Empathy: Can feel the emotions of people he makes eye contact with “Ghosting”: Intangibility and levitation (NOT flight) Basic magic: Anything from manipulating an object to breaking the laws of physics in slight ways. Not an expert so nothing incredible will come from this. Purgatory Ambassador: Speak with the recently deceased and any other ghosts still stuck there, see spirits/ghosts and go to and from that plane. Demonic/Hell Malicious Empathy: Can slightly bestow negative emotions (Anger, Greed, Jealousy, Fear etc.) via eye contact. Shapeshifting: Limited to humanoids and a demonic look, Judah can go from a spine covered hulking demon to a lathe and smooth succubus (that’s right, gender changes are possible) Enhanced strength and speed: Moreso strength than speed, but only slightly superhuman levels of each. Pyrokinesis: Hellfire, baby! Angelic/Heaven Inspiring Empathy: Can slightly bestow positive emotions (Calmness, Courage, Hope, Happiness etc.) via eye contact Enhanced speed and strength: Moreso speed than strength this time Holy Armor: Enhanced holy armor to raise durability, comes with a neat shield and sword! Detect Evil: Can literally smell evil, other than that no way to detect it. Flight: Wings. Enough said Electrokinesis: Call upon the powers of holy lightning! Weaknesses: Can't act without deciding, which sometimes turns inot a heated argument. Banishments remove 2/3rds of his powers for about 24 hours too. Oh, and he relies on magic, so he's not very strong outside of his Demon/Angel forms. Beating up bad guys and stuff is cool and all, but Judah needs to live a little and hopefully some hero sees this and takes the time to just get an ice cream cone with him or something. BRIEF Bio: Judah’s parents were the type to wait for marriage before even kissing, the type to go to a priest before a doctor whenever they were sick, and the type to think even uttering the name of the devil was enough to bring upon their doom. His life technically began on their wedding night, in an awkward wrestling match under hotel room blankets performed by his parents who somehow managed to do everything right to make a child. Little did they know the pain the next nine months were going to be. Over the course of this time, his father, a priest, fell into financial ruin due to his mother, a waitress, suffering from postpartum depression and spending all of their money trying to find her own happiness. The fights started month 2, and by month 4 his mother had moved out. Month 6 the divorce was filed and month 8 was spent with his mother taking a nose dive out of catholicism. She had a chance run in with a cult that led to her getting involved heavily with demons and devils. Of course his father didn’t want his baby to suffer, and only became more devout in his work as a preacher and in month 9, the day of his birth, both parents went all in. His father invoked all the saints, all, the angels and god himself to save his child while his mother hacked the head off of a goat and invoked all of the powerful demons and devils top protect their baby. Both powers answered, and both sent a guardian spirit to watch over him and to save him from the other parent’s clutches. On that day, Judah became stuck in a tug of war between an angel and a demon, Marco and Alexa. Marco always wants to do what’s right, and Alexa always wants to do what's fun, but neither can do anything unless Judah allows it. Every fight he is plagued with the choice between either siding with Marco, Alexa, or ignoring them and doing things his way. He spent most of his childhood wandering around, trying to get the two to shut up, but once they realized they were stuck with this boy the spirits took to helping him out despite their differences. He honed the powers they gave him and found power of his own as well, eventually being good enough to join a small team of heroes who took to calling him Triune, a word one of the members found in a thesaurus. He has since outgrown that name and applied for league membership under the recommendation of John Constantine during one of his drunken rants when the two crossed paths. He has not seen or heard from John since. Notes: Sample Post: The trio, well it didn’t look like a trio due to the fact only one of them was visible, made their way down the alley. A yelp drew the leader’s attention, an androgynous boy named Judah who wore nothing to label himself a hero and lack of defined muscle under his jacket had yet to deter a single villain spotted the perpetrator. A baby left alone and crying. It was surrounded by broken glass, cigarette butts and other litter and trash. ”What kind of bitch leaves a baby in an alley! We need to find who did this and teach them something” a female voice spoke. Judah looked to his left upon hearing it. Any outside observer would think the boy was just very interested in the graffiti but in his reality he had glanced at Alexa who was perched on his shoulder currently. Another voice called to him, a male who spoke very plainly. ”We mustn’t seek out to find the mother, should she take the baby back why would we trust her to raise it right? We should deliver it to an adoption agency or the fire department. That’s what you do with them, right?” It spoke as if it was ordering the boy to do as he said. ”How about we just... make sure it’s okay first? No revenge needed yet.” He said bending over to pick up the young one. A clicking sound behind his head sent a shiver down his spine. A woman, thing and obvious drugged out on something held a pistol to his head. ”Lemme roast her ass.” ”My armor can stop a bullet.” ”Lady you picked the wrong day to try this shit.” Judah’s body engulfed in flames, his skin turning red, his eyes glowing yellow and two horns stuck out of his forehead. He didn’t even have to turn around, he heard the woman run away and he knew that nobody had gotten hurt. A rarity for when Judah sided with Alexa, but a welcome outcome. He hated hurting people but sometimes you need to teach the bad guys a lesson. His face warped slightly, getting softer as he picked up the baby. In a flash he was clawing his way up the side of a building in order to spot the nearest Church or Fire station to drop it off. Hopefully they’ll trust a demon.
