Born the youngest of two to a family of engineers in the coastal regions of Therux, Sara had a tumultuous childhood. Due to the war, Sara was forced to leave her home at a young age, Sara and her family fled to capital of Therux as refugees from the coast. She had a tough time adapting to life on life in the city, she lacked the innate brilliance of her sister, as well as her tendency to be in the background, Sara's feisty and aggressive personality often found her in fights in the school yards with other kid and bullies, who enjoyed to taunt her refugee status at her expense. Despite this, Sara graduated high school with relatively high marks, and followed her sister into The Therux Military Institute. Due to the war ramping up, military Academies were, thankfully, tuition free- exchanging education for much needed military service, which the Western Coalition forces were in sore need of. Sara and her sister Samantha were quickly encouraged by their family to enroll and enlist. As usual, Sara's brilliant sister Samantha was quickly placed into the intelligence track- a highly regarded position in the academy. Sara on the other hand, found her self on track for a pilot MOS. Finally falling into her own, Sara found that she excelled as a pilot, quickly sending herself to the top of her class. While she still received plenty of disciplinary action on the account of her attitude and hot-headedness, her simulator scores hushed any critics she had- with scores and simulations rivaling some of the most talented pilots of the Western Wars and Great War. Upon graduating from the academy, her and her sister were separated and assigned to different areas, with Sara going into the 53rd Air Wing. While in the later stages of the war, fighting was still extremely intense in the outer regions of Therux. Flying attack missions in the thick of the battle, Sara quickly earned her ace on the frontlines, shooting down 6 enemy pilots on her first sortie. However, it wasn't until her actions in the Siege of Cerol that Sara became a face for the textbooks. After a short stint with the 53rd Air Wing, she was reassigned and joined up with the 22nd Air Cavalry. While with the 22nd Air Cavalry, Sara took part in the Siege of Cerol. This was a battle which took place between the remnants of the Therux 16th Armored division, consisting of a base unit, a half dozen heavy mobile armors, and a few Paladins, attempting to break through a massive blockade and siege by a combined force of Frontier mechs that included no less than a dozen Arachne heavy artillery platforms. Cut off from reinforcements and facing the destruction of both the battlegroup, as well as the city, the beleaguered Therux forces were forced into employing a risky plan. Using a diversionary tactic, the remaining mechs of the 16th rushed the enemy lines, while the 22nd Air Cavalry deployed a small unit of fighters to destroy enemy command units and key depots. Stripped of most of their armaments and equipped with clean-fusion warheads, the small flight of 22nd fighters flew wide around the enemy lines in an attempt to strike the enemy from the rear. During the attack, Sara and her flight launched a total of six nuclear warheads at the Frontier forces from close proximity, detonating command units, munitions depots, as well as several nuclear powered Arachnes themselves. The success of the 22nd Air Cavalry resulted in the destruction of the the Frontier's command structure, and most of their main line. With the leadership removed, and their frontline shaken, the Therux 16th Armored Division was able to wipe up several pockets of enemy resistance and hold out long enough for reinforcements to arrive. Earning a medal for heroism and putting a stop to one of the last major offenses by the Northern Frontier, Sara was granted several months leave to lick her wounds and heal her injuries. Sara returned to the 22nd Air Cavalry for another year of service, during which the war ended. She took her leave from the military and was discharged with honors. Seeking adventure out in the Fortune Region, Sara left Therux and moved to the frontiers of the Fortune Region. At the same time, she managed to pull some strings in the military intelligence branch which led to some strings being pulled in logistics, which led to Sara absconding with her Chevalier and a military transport truck. Despite this arguably illegal seizure of government property, Sara still maintains positive relations with several key personnel in the Therux Military, and despite her disavowed status, she still operates with and supplies the Therux military with intelligence and updates from the Fortune Region. Sara has spent the last two years working out of the Fortune Regions as a bounty hunter, mercenary, and occasional smuggler. She's made a name for herself as an effective- if expensive fighter, with a high track record of completed bounties and a reputation for sticking to a contract through to the end. Tactical Preference & Skills: Sara is one of the sharpest pilots in the Therux Air Corps and isn't afraid to let anyone know it. She's clocked in countless hours of simulation and firsthand experience, and has qualified with the I-22, I-47, and AS-64 Mechs. She's got keen eyes, has memorized countless maneuvers, and can hum for you the exact tone a Serpent missile makes when it confirms radar lock. Sara is scrappy and adaptable, but generally moves to clear out enemy air cover first so she can assert control over the local airspace and provide cover to her allies. Designed for air to air, as well as air to ground and general combat, this cannon is a versatile weapon that deals consistent damage at most ranges. The XBR uses a linkless feed system to maintain high rates of fire without jamming, and uses removable 500 round magazines. The XBR fires in semi automatic, 5 round burst, and fully automatic, and has two selectable firing speeds of 1000 RPM and 1500 RPM. The AS-64 typically carries one spare magazine.
(Alternate) X5-II Arbalest Plasma Lance -While the XBR is designed for general purpose work, with preference towards medium to medium-close combat, the X5-11 Arbalest is a specialized plasma beam weapon for use in the medium to medium-long ranges of combat. Utilizing an ionized targeting system to create a path of least resistance, the Arbalest creates a briefly energized, highly focused particle beam capable of blowing clean through even heavily reinforced targets. Though it suffers in rate of fire and ammunition capacity- it makes up for it by doing what it does best--putting a big hole in whatever it points at. Generally used for tougher targets the X5-II's Capacitor-Magazines (C-Mags) carry enough pre-condensed plasma charges for 16 shots, with a two spare magazines carried.

Hand Slot 2:

T-2 Combat Shield - A medium sized, lightweight shield of hardened alloys treated with anti-plasma beam coating provides the Chevalier with limited directional protection from oncoming fire. Mounted to the forearm instead of the hand itself, it can be rotated and shifted on the Chevalier's arm, leaving the hand open to carry other items- though usually not weapons. In addition, the T-2 combat shield features a pair of plasma 'claws' at its base, allowing the shield to be used as a melee weapon.
(Alternate) D20 Munitions Launcher - For strike missions, the Chevalier often forgos the T-2 combat shield for a D20 Launcher. Essentially a mech sized rocket launcher, the D20 uses a rear fed 4-rocket magazine. These rockets are only slightly guided with path correction capabilities as opposed to homing capabilities. Packing a powerful explosive warhead, these rockets are designed to incapacitate heavily armored mechs.

Sub Weapon Slot:

Chin Mounted XM921 Rotary Gun - Mounted on the chin of the AS-64 Chevalier is a XM921 6 barreled rotary machine gun. Firing 7.62mm rounds, the XM921 is generally ineffective against heavier Mechs and other heavily armored targets though sustained fire can still cause damage. It is used primarily for point defense and anti-personnel roles. It has an internal 1000 round magazine and can fire at toggle-able rates of 2000 RPM and 6000 RPM

Shoulder/Back Spot:

Serpent Missile System - An advanced missile launcher system used by the Chevalier. Launching 3 Serpent Missiles from under each wing, these fast, highly maneuverable AA missiles pack a surprising punch, able to make 90 degree turns, and capable of knocking most flying mech's out of the sky with a single missile. While not particularly devastating, these small guided missiles are extremely difficult to avoid and are more than capable of crippling a mech's flight capabilities, essentially spelling death for other fliers. Against ground targets, it is rather lackluster in damage when compared to other heavier missiles, but is still serviceable. Serpent Missiles are impact safe, allowing them to be safely carried under the wings.
(Alternative) Cobra Missile System - A robust missile launcher system used by the Chevalier. Launching 3 Cobra missiles from under each wing, these powerful AGM missiles pack a mean punch and are designed specifically for targeting ground armor and other ground based assets. These missiles are rather situational- many mechs are capable of some manner of flight, and AGM missiles have a difficult time targeting flying units. These missiles are equipped when pilots know that they are going to be targeting entrenched or heavily armored ground targets. Like Serpent missiles, the Cobras are impact safe, allowing them to be safely carried under the wings.
(Alternative) Hornet Swarm Missile System - A limited deployment missile launcher system for specialized pilots. Launching 3 hornet missiles from each wing, these multi-purpose missiles are designed for a wide variety of targets, with varying effectiveness. The hornet missile is a high speed, highly maneuverable missile that splits into 4 micro-missiles upon reaching .5km of the target. These micro missiles fly in an erratic pattern, to avoid and confuse active point defense systems. The speed and number of the micro-missiles typically guarantees at least one or two of the warheads hit when faced with most traditional countermeasures- but is not infallible. Each individual warhead is has approximately 30% of the destructive force of a Serpent missile. Like it's cousins, hornet missiles are impact safe while not in use.

Gadget Slot:

Advanced Countermeasure System - Designed to combat anti-air systems, the Therux State ACS is essentially a miniature missile launcher, that detects oncoming heat signatures and launches guided munitions to counter and neutralize the oncoming threat, along with a spray of flares and chaff for pesky micro-missile style weapons.
Supercruise/Afterburner System - Advanced propulsion systems allow the Chevalier to maintain supersonic 'cruising' speeds at Mach 1.5, and at full burn can temporarily reach speeds of Mach 2. These machines as a result are rather small in number and fairly expensive, utilizing powerful Hybrid Generators and advanced weapon systems. Replacing the effective, but aging I-47 Lancer, the Chevalier was designed to be a high-mobility air platform, and one of the few machines designed by Therux from the ground up to be a military machine, as opposed to a repurposed civilian machine. It is designed to fulfill deep strike missions, as well as escort and intercept missions, as opposed to frontline conflict, and its thinner than average armor and high mobility makes it difficult for inexperienced pilots to handle. Chevaliers are often used in tandem with Therux's more durable TMX-34 Paladins, as target air-support for the frontline machines. Sara's personal Chevalier is painted a stark white instead of the dark grey and blue of the stock model, and has been fine tuned for speed and performance. It also has the name "White Hare" painted onto its chassis.
