My dear Alexis, you are forever a witch” Maybe it was fort he better? She couldn’t imagine being a werewolf as well. Though one thing she didn’t really like: the fact that a supernatural’s bite would hurt like hell. What if she was having a stand-off with the rogue Alpha!? That would be messy. Though he would probably be able to kill her. Her train of thoughts did led her to another thing: did the Alpha choose who he turns? Or did her classmates and their friends get saved because they were simply human? So many questions she did not have answers for. At least not yet. ”And that is more than enough to be getting on with, isn’t it?” Alexis nodded with a smile. She felt like suddenly a small gap that let a little light through was torn open to let it all in. Callie would teach her and she would listen. She was no longer alone and that was the best thing she could have ever hoped for. Her mentor was right. Being a witch, or rather a Warlock, was work enough already. It was with the smile that she tried to tell Callie that she’d work for it. As hard she possibly could. She’d become the best witch Callie had ever seen. Somewhat consumed by her own thoughts, she didn’t really realize James’ change and Callie protective stance. “I’m ready as I’ll ever be!” Alexis said with some renewed excitement. Sure, there was some tension in the air. But she didn’t cause it. Nor did she feel it mostly concerned her. Beside, Callie was offering to get her out of it so why act worried? Unless, of course, Callie wanted to get out as fast as possible herself. She didn’t understand fully what was going on, obviously. She had heard rumors and things but she didn’t understand the situation. Still, she walked out straight for the car to go to school. But before she reached the door, she turned around to Callie and asked: “Do you mind if I come back after school. You know, so you can teach me..?” She hadn’t actually asked yet when or how she’d get taught. So to show a bit of initiative she just chose to ask herself.
