Name: Rikuo Age: 22 Appearance: Rikuo stands at a rather average height of 5'10". He has a rather lean build, and obviously hasn't trained much for hand to hand combat. He wears the typical clothing of the Northern Water Tribe along with the typical blue fur coat. When he travels, he would often carry a water bag with him to use for his water bending. He also carries around what seems to be the hilt of a sword, but no blade and no guard. He has dark brown hair and deep blue eyes. He has shown talent in the bending arts. He first learned how to heal here, spending most of his time learning healing rather than other uses for the bending. However, when he was ten, he and his family had migrated to the Northern Water Tribe after his parents had a falling out with the elder. This did not stop him from learning, however, and continued on to learn the Northern Water Tribe's skills. Here, he was taught how to fight using water bending, but he occasionally visited the healer's hut to learn about it, despite being a male. By the time he was fifteen, he had decided to move on and travel. Saying goodbye to his parents, he searched the world for other water benders. Rikuo had then learned of the corruption of the Order, which had promised to protect the people while the Avatar was gone. However, this was of no interest to the young man. They had not affected his travels and pursuit for knowledge so why should he be afraid? His travels led him to learn various ways of utilizing ice techniques and he even formed his own techniques. In his travels, he had heard that the Avatar had surfaced. Rumors flew about, bounty hunters of all ages were talking about the biggest catch of all while others said in hushed voices that they would welcome the Avatar with welcome arms. Rikuo was not sure what to make of this. That was, until he had gotten a message from his father back through a falcon message. It stated that there was a young Water bender who had come back to the Northern Water Tribe and that he should meet up with him in Ba Sing Se. Thinking that this may be an opportunity to learn something about this water bender and maybe get some techniques out of him, he set out for the Impenetrable City. Personality: Rikuo was often described as a serious young lad whose passion for knowledge was next to none. He is described to have been in peace with himself most of the time. Rikuo is actually pretty nice in general - helpful and friendly. However, he isn't too trusting and doesn't warm up to anyone easily. He's the type of person who would rather watch from afar in a fight rather than charge forward head on. If he does the latter, he would usually have a plan. Rikuo is pretty closed off individual and does not show his genuine feelings to most people. Family/Relationships:

Hua - Father
Chiya - Mother
Other: He has a pet falcon named Jinyu. He is trained in delivering messages to and fro a place. It can be ordered to go somewhere through a series of whistles only known to those of the Northern Water Tribe. He has heard of bloodbending and has been rather curious on what it is and if he can use it. He knows some form of swordsmanship - he often showcases it when forced to close quarter combat in which he would freeze himself a sword to use.
