A dark-haired girl was standing in the doorway, and there were some kind of floating ball things hovering lazily around her, but more importantly- Oh. That's where the stairs are. Behind that door... which is behind another door. Why are there two doors there, anyway? Normally they only put two sets of doors next to exits. Why do they do that, anyway? Maybe because it helps keep the cold out in the winter, because it has to go through two doors instead of one... But then why don't they do the same thing with windows? ...No, wait, don't most windows have layers? But I thought that was for durability... Wait, what was window glass called again? I think the right word was 'pane...' She blinked. The girl was still standing there, looking kind of awkwardly off to one side. Was there something there? Fumika turned her head to follow the girl's gaze. It just looked like there was a wall there, to her... Unless this girl could see through walls? Come to think of it, that would make a lot of sense! She'd seen Fumika through two doors, right? ...But wait, then what were those floating black things supposed to be? Her eyes flashed red for a moment as a large dot of a matching hue appeared in her hair, accompanied by a crimson bar around the crown of her head. One of her braids twisted slightly, floating into the air and coming ever-so-slightly unwound at its tip, seemingly of its own accord. The tuft of hair at the end fluffed up quite abruptly, and a static crackle once more ran down the length of each strand before Fumika blinked, and suddenly, her eyes switched back to blue, the dot and bar in her hair disappeared, and her hair once more swished back down behind her like the tail of an excited puppy. What curious little things those were... Apparently they were really there, but she'd never encountered such a weird material before in any of her other recordings. She had half a mind to try making some for herself, but decided against it, since it would probably use up too much of her charge, and she needed to save what power she had left for class. ...Oh right, speaking of class, hadn't the girl said something about that? Fumika was pretty sure she'd asked a question... about thirty seconds ago. What had she said again? Something about whether or not she was trying to get to class... She was, of course, but she needed to find the stairs. Which were right there. Oh, right, class was in only a couple more minutes now, right? If the stairs were here, she should have been right below the classroom, but she couldn't really afford to delay any longer... So, after a lengthy period of deliberation in stonefaced, utterly stoic silence, Fumika nodded with a wordless "Mhm," and then briskly walked through the door the girl had been rather awkwardly holding open for her. But, as if thinking of something quite suddenly, Fumika stopped two steps up the stairs, turned around, and then... bowed? "Thank you for the stairs," She said, and then went on her way. [@Riegal]
