Ezra
Ezra had made all the preparations that he needed for school. Living on his own had proved to be a challenge of its own, and this showed as Ezra had spent an entire morning searching for appropriate footwear. He was annoyed that he couldn't wear his favourite sneakers but he remember that his parents had told him that if he got expelled for something as stupid as uniform, then they'd beat him so bad that he'd turn blue. Not wishing to incur his mothers wrath, he had searched extra hard and found them, at the expense of being 30 minutes later than he had intended to get there. Once he had arrived, everything had become clear to him. This place was an absolute clusterfuck of people and he needed to find a way to get inside, whatever that may be. He would normally have no qualms with using his quirk, but given that he had not eaten breakfast, he did not wish to expend the little amount of energy he had just getting through the front gate. There was a lot of people, but given there was very few people of his build there, it made muscling through the crowd extremely easy as he used his arm as a barrier to barge through. He didn't feel the need to apologise to any who had been barged past, as they were late as he scanned his card and walked through the front entrance. Looking down at his wristwatch after making it through the gate, he noted the time. He did not anticipate that he'd have 10 minutes to navigate an entire school block and get to his classroom, and not ready to face the consequences, Ezra decided that expending the energy that he had was of little consequence if he didn't even get to go to the school. Seeing the security guarding the main entrance pissed him off a bit, but he figured that it was just part of the process and that he couldn't really do much to change it. He figured that getting mad and trying to fight them was nonsensical, a waste of time and disturbing people who were just doing a job that they were paid to do. Seeing the nurse with the needle didn't really activate much fear in Ezra, but seeing the students shaking in fear did. He couldn't understand why the people who were literally going to be taking a professional hero course were afraid of a needle. It made slightly angry, but something caught his eye as he busted straight through the crowd taking large strides to cover the maximum amount of distance. He noted a rust haired boy at least a foot shorter than him who didn't seem to be scared in the slightest asking the nurse a question. This struck a cord with him, and whilst he wasn't normally one to make friends easy, he saw no issue in helping a classmate out. He figured that helping this kid out might come back to assist him in the future. "Come on, bro. You just gotta trust your intuition here, we got 5 minutes before we're late." Ezra spoke as he jogged on the spot waiting for his potential accomplice to come with him. His voice was hurried and raspy due to the lack of hydration. [@Experiment 249]
