In a day that started off as this one did, it just didn’t seem right to make it any more complicated than it had to be. So she let it go for now, and smiled instead, watching the couple leave. She was sure that Tatiana would be alright, with a few days rest, although the woman seemed intent on taking on the world. ”She doesn’t seem to realise what… a beacon she is, in this day and age” She said softly, more to herself than anyone else. She gave a soft sigh, and turning to Froggy. Starting lessons tomorrow, dear god. How had she got to being here, to learning how to help a woman as she gave birth to a child? She had no idea… and that she frighten her, but it didn’t. What did that say about her, these days? Maybe she shouldn’t open up that can of worms. At least not today. ”Is there anything that I can do?” she asked, after a moment, wanting something to do. ”I just… need something to do” She said, feeling a little out of place. She was use to the routine she’d fallen into these last few months, and the way the day had started had thrown that out of perspective… which might very well be a good thing. Becoming complacent could quite easily get herself killed…. And maybe not just herself. So maybe midwifery lessons were a good thing. The idea that there would be not just one new baby in Newman, but more, in the future? It was a good thing. And good things made everything a little easier.
