Jin stood outside the gates with the rest of the crowd, impatiently tapping his foot. His expression betrayed nothing, but inside he was getting close to panicking. The anticipation of getting to attend Komei academy can turned nearly all of his excitement into stress, and this was just exacerbating it. However, the gates finally opened, and Jin was able to slip through the crowd by virtue of his small stature. It seemed that being short was good for something, sometimes. Reading toward the Right Wing, he was confronted by the threatening nurse. Jin cocked his head to a side, thinking this over. Obviously a test, but this early? Maybe this was to compensate for the relatively easy entrance exam. Even so, a single opponent was hardly a threat for such a crowd. Maybe there were more tests, later in the day. A flash of light further up in the crowd got his attention. The students in front of him seemed dazed, but Jin was fairly used to bright lights already, and wasn't terribly bothered. He continued to weave though the crowd, finding his way to the front. The nurse seemed dazed as well, but was generally alert to sounds, as she jabbed at students that passed by. The first flashbang was effective, judging by the students that got past her, but it seemed to be wearing off. Advancing on the nurse, Jin manifested his quirk subtly, so that prying eyes could not quite see what he was doing. When finished, he clapped his hands, resulting a burst of heat and noise that resembled a lightning strike and resulting thunder. The windows in the hall shattered, the building shook, and even more students were debilitated by having their eardrums burst. An aura of blue light surrounded Jin in a haze that was at least as far around as the hallway was wide, disguising his movements as he ducked between the staggered Nurse's legs to avoid her. Rounding the corner to where his class was supposed to be, Jin staggered in with barely a minute to spare. He panted heavily and dripped with sweat. His already icy expression made haggard with exertion gave him a look like he was barely inches from killing someone. He sat down at his assigned desk heavily, chest still heaving. Damn stubby legs, making running so needlessly difficult.
