The pack and herself were quite adept at harassing enemy convoys, contesting large mechs, and taking objectives in the back and forth war against the Western coalition. Her unit was commended by Frontier general staff, and the new Jager hounds went into mass production often with new modules. She was then given command of a battalion of Mechs and infantry to command on the front lines. The Jager Hounds were quite smaller than average without the larger armament mounts, but they were designed to fight alongside infantry and in large numbers of mechs usually called a Hound Pack, Wester had direct influence in how the Jager Hounds were designed due to her background in engineering before she joined the army two years earlier after being found to be adept at handling and understanding a basic mech. Year 2231 The Orio war was starting to reach its peak, Wester was in command of a strike group on the Hylo front after she got transferred at the start of the year to help the push into enemy territory. The Hylo commander proved a worthy adversary as for half the year they were locked in a bloody stalemate. The MkII Jager Hound was receiving a MkIII variant by 2235 if the war continued by that point. The casualties were mounting and reaching well into the hundred million mark for all sides. Year 2232 The war comes to a close, with both Frontier, Therux, and Hylo licking their wounds with an uneasy ceasefire in the air, Wester was pulled from the Hylo front and returned to the icy inner region of the North. There she was again commended for her successes, and was given the rank of Colonel in the Frontier military, a façade to increase morale to those who revered her, her call sign was infamous “Fang” the Grey Wolf of the North, tenacious, intelligent, intense, and unrelenting, this made her useful for recruitment purposes. Year 2233 The MkIII Jager Hound was introduced, it was only for the richest and most elite pilots of the Frontier, Wester got into a heated debate with the Brigadier general who oversaw the MkIII variants development project. She argued that she was more than qualified to pilot the MkIII the General argued otherwise, citing the lengthy stalemate with the Hylo commander during Year 2231 and mocking her with these exact words: “You couldn’t even fight a bunny, let alone fight a war. In fact I'll call 'ya bunny how's that for qualified? Hahahaha!” This led to an altercation in which she challenged the General to fight her with a MkIII while she used her MkII Jager Hound customized with the combat shoulder modules and the heavy weapon module on the back of her mech. The results were surprising; even though the Brigadier General had the clear tech advantage using an Elementum powered mech which essentially tripled the stats of the previous Jager hound, he was defeated by Wester using only her pure wit and overall experience with mech-to-mech fighting. However the fight resulted in the Brigadier General demoting her back to Battalion commander status with the rank of Captain for destroying an expensive MkIII prototype even though it left Wester’s mech in need of heavy repairs of her own. Year 2234 Wester’s reputation grew as the rumors spread about the fight, however her disdain for the power hungry high command made her weary about their actions. She started to make custom adjustments to her MkII Jager Hound making it faster, stronger, and better armed. She started to plan her attempt at going AWOL, and with her intuition, planning, and overall familiarity with the habits of most personnel, she was able to keep her plans secret. To most she was still revered as the Wolf of the North however her altercation gave her image a stain and made her name infamous to those in the high command and some of the men in the lower ranks, which made her less useful for recruitment and uplifting the already low morale. Year 2235 Wester left the frontier and plotted a course out of the North and into the freelands. Her call records indicated that she made arrangements with the outcast guild and planned an escape, along with her MkII Jager Hound modified to her specifications. It was fast and agile without using its thrusters, in addition most of the Jager Hounds parts are now proliferated all over, even finding a place in the other nations as the captured versions existed there, it was also reversed engineered allowing for both Therux and Hylo versions and iterations to be made. Wester was set up to leave, and even ripped out the tracker and changed the internal computing system of her Jager Hound in order to make sure that nobody would follow her and it made her hard to find. -------------------------------------------------/Wester’s Profile/------------------------------------------------- Preferred Strategies: -Ambush -Shock-and-Awe -Know Your Enemy -Unorthodox Tactics Employed: The Wolf of the North, a revered title, a hero to the frontier, but she didn’t get there without being ferocious, intelligent, and tenacious. She is a former Frontier commander, she learned a lot of tricks while behind the controls of the powerful and equally ferocious looking Jager Hound. Her tactics involve stalking, preparing, and striking with as much force as possible while closing the distance for a close kill, this is only when she knows she can win the fight along with the current terrain. Heavy-Bite Fangs -A heavy duty hydraulic actuator Jaw that allows it to crush and rip through soft metal, usually paired with the Thermo-Strike Claws to help soften the target.
<>
Targeting system: METS-3 Retina Target System: -Allows the user to target enemy mechs using their actual eyes, these helmets include different spectrums such as Night vision and infrared modes. Countermeasures: Type-2 ECM Smoke release system -Allows the mech to evade missile lock while also covering the battlefield with smoke, there are two modules installed in thrasher, the factory standard used IR-Flares instead of ECM for cost reasons. each module is one-time-use only. (Brief context in ECM or Electronic Counter Measure, the smoke messes with guidance, and lock-on-systems, this helps Thrasher run away from its target and also disappear from radar and other such devices for a brief period of time, this does not however affect thermal imaging but will affect heat seekers, so dumb fire or a weapon that directly fires at a target is advised when faced with ECM Smoke chaff.) -------------------------------------------------/Combat Rating and Assessment/------------------------------------------------- (Stats Scale)
<>
(Light/Heavy Body) The feared Wolf of the North is a MkII which is only a few tons heavier than the MKIII variant however with Wester’s modifications from the regular Jager Hound it is now a few tons heavier than the regular MkII but for its size it is quite light allowing it to reach high speeds. It is also quite agile as its melee requires precise control and responsiveness from the mech itself. It isn’t very well armored, Wester wanted to capitalize on speed and thus kept Thrasher’s regular armor with a few additions here and there, this allowed Thrasher to sustain itself in direct combat but Wester uses Thrasher more as a stalker and ambush meant to get the drop on unsuspecting pilots thus she figured adding armor would only make its overall profile bigger.
Class: 4

<>
(Accuracy & Tracking/Firepower) Wester wanted Firepower to be high as such Thrasher was loaded with a heavy weapon on the back and some anti-infantry weapons on the shoulders, tracking was all dependent on Wester’s line of sight, thus tracking at best was dependent on whether or not Wester could see her target, her special awareness is at least helped by the standard radar that most mechs come with, and in situations where she can’t even hit her target she would rather retreat and consolidate.
Class: 7

<>
(Air mobility/Thrusters) The Jager Hound was never meant to fly, thus most of its speed is focused on the thrusters and how fast it runs, the Thrasher is the fastest MkII Jager Hound that is armed and fit for combat reaching raw top speeds in the upper hundreds of miles per hour at full sprint. This allows Thrasher to chase down fast moving targets, pounce unsuspecting targets, or lunge with a powerful bite at a vital part.
Class: 9

<>
(Solo/Skirmisher) Wester modified Thrasher to be a Hunter and Mech Assassin, however that did not remove the fact that Thrasher was a Jager Hound, the Jager Hound worked well in packs taking down bigger mechs and large numbers of enemies with well-coordinated strikes and good team communication, the Thrasher strikes a good balance between the two, having come from a good base frame of modification it allows the Thrasher to be efficient in both jobs if it came down to it.
Class: 5
-------------------------------------------------/The Wolf of the North vs MkIII Jager Hound /------------------------------------------------- (Flavor Text; Note this is before she modified it to the current model you see me describe)

The overconfident Brigadier General took out the latest MkIII prototype – a very expensive priority project – he started off confident with a smirk on his face, he spoke in a mocking manner as if inciting a violent reaction from Wester. ”Ready to surrender yet Rabbit? Or are you really going to fight with that outdated stray dog model? the onlookers were scientists, pilots, and soldiers all betting and cheering for one or the other, it was a literal dog-fight. Wester only glared back at the cocky officer, with one thing in mind ’KILL HIM’; they both mounted their mechs, Wester in her MkII and the General in the MkIII prototype. The rules were simple, cripple the opponents mech. The fight began and almost immediately the MkIII began a hail of fire towards Westers mech; Wester as agile as she is knew this was going to happen, she dodged swiftly towards the right, popped a smoke module while turning on thrusters. The General switched to heat spectrum vision, Wester was clear as day, but that was not what the smoke was for, it was to conceal whether or not she was going to fire; she fired four shots of twin 30mm cannons at the MkIII aiming for the legs, the Mk3 takes the brunt of the damage. ”It takes more than that to kill this mech, eat this you bitch!” The officer turns around and starts firing back, the tracking was way too advanced, she decided to throw it off using HE grenades which gave her some respite from the bullets coming her way. The shots that were fired chewed up her left shoulder armor, however she needed to end this quickly, so instead of waiting, she saw an opportunity as the explosive forced the General into the side of the fighting area, she fired another grenade targeting his left, without rest the General instinctively pulls his mech back into a corner, Wester uses this opportunity to jump the MkIII, the inexperienced General then turned his guns on her not realizing that the MkIII was fully capable of overpowering the MkII in melee. ”What the – …!?” ”What’s wrong General, no where to run? Where did all that shit talking go to? Don't tell me you're actually afraid of a stray dog.” The MkIII pounds Wester’s mech, however the jaws clamped where they were suppose to, around the neck area, Wester skillfully adjusts the jaw to rest on one of the areas where wires that connects the controls to the main body are housed, she then violently rips them out of the MkIII, and continues breaking it apart till it is no longer firing. Wester’s mech after the battle was about to give out as the bullets tore a hole through the one of the power generators, and the General’s mech was completely eviscerated, metal parts and components were splayed out in a wide area around the pit; the damage was expensive and thus lead to Wester’s demotion. Despite this demotion Robin Wester was content with showing the General what she was made of and she had fun tearing apart his precious MkIII, his project was nothing more than a lame copy of Robin's success with developing the MkII variant, the General completely tarnished the Northern Frontier's discipline on solid mech design as there were some features that Robin felt could've been better.
