By the time they finished dinner, Chloe had lightened up and had gotten comfortable chatting with Adam. When he invited her to walk on the beach, she shyly agreed. Hanging out with a handsome guy wouldn't hurt. 

As they neared Adam's house, Chloe's eyes lit up at the sight of it. She had always wondered what it'd be like living on the beach, having lived in the city most of her life. It must be nice to be able to listen to the sound of the water and be able to go for a dip anytime you wanted. 

She stepped into the house. Although his house wasn't anything fancy, she still thought it marvelous. He was right. He was living in a place where most people could only wish they could. Including her. "Your place is really nice," she said as as she walked to a window overlooking the sea. "Cozy and relaxing. The sound of the water is amazing. With how full I am from dinner, I might fall asleep listening to it," she chuckled.
