Tristan snorted at her words. "You should expect a lot from the older generations of vampire, child." He stated while his ears twitched. The sound of a button compressing and she was already free falling. He however had leaped upward, escaping the blast of the incendiary grenades. The heat hurt a bit but it was hottest in the blast zone and since they were out in the open nothing got to contain the heat. Landing in an oddly silent manner in the rubble he looked around through the smoke. The only sound was the creak of his leather clothing. Blind until the smoke was gone his hands flickered and a pair of blades were within his grasp. Deaf however, not so much. She spoke, which let him know she was there. "Talking while you have the advantage of sight. Foolish." he said figuring her armor had some way to compensate for the smoke. Her footsteps could be as silent as a cloud, the ground would betray her. The slightest shift of debris was in his mind, the displaced air alerted him to her actions. She might have been trained for war, he was born for it. Her blades were parried at each thrust and swing of her limbs. "You're using my preferred weapon. Blades." He said, laughter evident in his voice. "You're also incredibly young. How old are you? I doubt even one hundred." He said as sparks glanced off their blades while he parried repeatedly. This wasn't like a fight on television where blades clashed and locked. That was a sword destroyer and would make their weapons completely useless after the first dozen attacks. No, Tristan was letting the angle of her swing and the angle of his sword to send her blades flying off harmlessly to both him and his weapons. Even though he talked and taunted he could discern what was his voice and what was her movements. His leather creaked and sighed, her armor clinked and whispered. It was apparent this wasn't his first time fighting blind and it certainly wouldn't be the last. "Any more traps, kid? As much fun as underhanded tactics are you could have just said you wanted a fight." He said while flashing white teeth in a smile. Or a baring of teeth, who knew.
