A chasm of giant proportion temporarily splits the world of Lora into 4 continents.

The world has come out of cataclysm, the event of the apocalypse of the previous superior and logical world. Throughout the universe God released new power. The stars and moons shifted and broke in the wake of such power. All of the universe grew manyfold, life was found on millions upon billions of planets, stars and moons. The 4 corners of the world humans had lived on were spread across the galaxy and after 42 days returned to the spot of the previous world. Upon it's surface there were now many seeds, spores, remnants, eggs and younglings of new races, faces and materials (though some resembled the old).. It would not be long for these babies to wander around, mature and wonder... is there more out there?
Guide the young nations to power by earning heroes&heroines glory, surviving storms, exploring the map, new technologies, good political agenda's, proper merchandising,...
Here's a selfmade, colourfully simplistic overview of the map.

There are 4 continents (as previously stated). You can travel your heroes across the 4 roads (none to opposite sides though, for example: NE-SW doesn't exist.) Each continent has a series of unique biomes(like desert, forest, mountains on earth) and nations(among the player nations) Each biome has different locations. You find these by exploring. (Some good, some bad. Explore freely) Your nation will be in one of the biomes. The GM describes your biome after your first nation entry. (probably among others)

How to prep?
Fill in the charactersheets (as many as you think you can handle) and nation sheets. If I give you a thumbs up, you're ready to post IC ;)
The hero system works to let players interact with eachother on a more personal level as well as hire/help eachother. Heroes live in the nations of players. And don't require to be limited to 4 actions every day. (Other players, if accepted, born into the nation)

How to play
Every post, a player - can take up to 3 nation actions and a sleep action. - a series(yes, plural) of hero actions while within the same biome. - Moving across a chasm early (hero) or going to sleep(hero) ends your post. - GM replies within 24 hours(normally) "@player" before you take another turn.
Example of a first post Player: NationName1, NE, woods biome: Dawn: We try to wake up and wander the nearby area, keeping close eye on everyone. Day: We attempt at setting up a camp or at least a basic area in which we'll reside. Dusk: We hope to find food and shelter in the camp. Dark: We sleep as best we can without snoring too much. Hero1, NE, woods biome: Action: Sing my national anthem to awaken my people! (and maybe turn to my other side a few more times..) GM: @Player NationName1, NE, woods biome, Experience: -Dawn: Only half your people awakens before the national anthem. Afterwards you find out some of them will sleep forever more. -Day: Before this moment, you figure out you are in a grey woods biome. You will find a lot of food here, but no actual building materials. -Dusk: You've made camp arround your eternal sleepers and can hide(them) in a giant food pile if your hero so commands. -Dark: Your nation realises it has a limited number of active members. (add to current nation sheet please) Active members: 76 Hero1, NE, woods biome: Your song is a wonderfull means of awakening your people and all who can hear. Your influence on those who hear it is increased. Player: Hero1: Tries to shake eternal sleepers awake. (Meanwhile in the OOC: Player1: I forgot the format.. sorry. GM: Happens, but i can keep track because you mentioned recent things. Which is fine. In creation tabs: Player1 "birthes" new and thumbed up hero "heroine1" in another nation. Player 2 creates a nation and accepts the player1 hero "heroine1" in their ranks.) Heroine1, serving @Player2: -Sets up a deal with a small benoba-bulldog. GM: @player Your hero1, NE, woods biome Experienced no improvement upon this situation. You find out there's a few solesprites in the tree tops. They are holding strangely bent cookies and are trying to sing the anthem. "Hey you!" one squeeks out. Your heroine1, Experienced a great joy when she found out that the bulldog would join her. (More on the benoba-bulldog in the Lore tab.)

How does a day end? :o
As soon as all players have taken turns and put their heroes to sleep/across a chasm, the day ends.
Real time passes midnight on the GM's clock: GM: Day 2441! A new day has come! All area's with extra food are experiencing strange paper pages floating through their nations. @player, that means you, by the way. NE: Your waters run deeper, all rivers get more dangerous. NW: Your hills seem higher, hard to climb hills. SE: Your creatures become ferocious, dangerous animals. SW: Your storms went beyond, extreme weather conditions. @Player1, your hero "heroine1" needs to find shelter from the storm before tonight or she will wash down the chasm. player1: That's pretty bad. Heroine1 uses the bulldog as cover. GM: @player1 Your faithfull companion, the bulldog, dies, saving you from a certain watery grave. What is your nation, NationName1, NE, Woods biome doing? @player2 What is your nation doing? Do they hold a ceremony in honor of the bulldog?

Gm: The world of Lora cycles. All biomes are full of life once more. NE: Fire spreads across your deserts. NW: Water flows from your wounds, not blood. SE: Wind hurls at houses all around. SW: Earthly (past)bolders fall from the sky. @Player1: Your nation awakens! @Player2: Your nation awakens!

Standardised rules. Read before rushing in:
GM => "My will be done."
Pm the gm if you don't know something. It is the GM's game, in disputes or in peace, for better for worse, the GM has the final say.
OOC => Don't be a dingus Be nice!
The real fighting happens in the IC. No namecalling or cursing here. We're trying to set up a game in which you can (to some extend). FAQ is in here, 'exposition' is in here and disputes/discussions are had in here.
Nation sheet => newborn and current condition. Format specifics in post 0.
Your nation will win wars, grow in size, devellop tech,... To make certain you can do this again someday and notice your progress, you -Keep one in baby state -Keep one up to date. (Also usefull in case you would fall on the battlefield/wanted to start over on a better basis.) Heroes are to be listed(mentioned) in their respective nations.
Character sheet => We want to fit into the format. Character specs in post 0. We are all "completely unique" => I don't want a monkey D luffy showing up. Monkey E luffy is fine, though..
All character types are welcome but must be conform to the charactersheet and its custom rules. One of them is being unique, it doesn't mean there aren't allowed to be 2 or more grom reapers, but please change it up a bit so it doesn't look like his or hers. (like the Dahaka when there's a Jason in the game)
IC => No touching other parties unless GM makes you fight (willingly...)
You'll state an attempt at doing something. Which will be glorious, regardless of what happens. For nations these are spaced as "dusk, day, dawn, dark". For heroes/characters these are paced as they are. => Character sheets make you allowed to do( or suffer through) more. A hero is to remain within one continent...
Lore => Here the Gm will store all sorts of rare and often mundane information about the world. Use at own risk. "Godmodding" => Forbidden to babies!
The nation and the hero you are bringing into the story have great potential? Surely, they could. Planning out things to grow beyond anything others could do? Sure, you could. But not from the start. Helps immersion, by the way... GM=> "I will warn you, however. If after 7 subtle hints and a pm, you do not understand that your behaviour is in no way fair to other players, i will pull out a giant Mr.Tomato and have you either create a fair character + nation or will find you removed from the game."
