Magnus Shane
Magnus was content in the fact that Johnathan so readily and eagerly accepted his orders, as per usual of course. He was a loyal fledgling by far and one of the only ones he trusted to carry out his every wish. Sure, he could tell the boy wanted power. More and more, enough to conquer everything...possibly even himself. But that was also why he kept him and sought to control him. His determination with each and every task, his efficiency, his undying loyalty...he was the perfect soldier. Now he had thought of the possibility he might try and turn on him, after all if he had he wouldn't be the first newblood he had to disembowel to keep the others in line. And if he certainly doubted it'd be the last if he chose to try any kind of attack. He wasn't entirely sure, nor was he aware those were actually his intentions...but he was always prepared, at-least to some degree, and this was no exception. That said he continued sitting in his home in his comfy 'throne' of sorts, eyes closed with a wide grin on his face as he listened to the destruction outside. "Ahh how perfect...with any luck this small skirmish will be over quickly and the real fun can get started." He said, chuckling lowly to himself as he rose from his seat and walked over to the window. Arms folded behind his back he peered at the destruction, the bodies, the burning buildings...and once he opened said window the smell of it all. He inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly. This....this is what he missed. The screams of humans, the pleas for mercy as they were stricken down, the smell of blood flowing freely. It's just as it was all those centuries ago, as it should of stayed, as it should of always been. To most of the humans here though he supposed this looked more like a terrorist attack than a supernatural foe...ah well. He didn't care. Terrorists, vampires, crazy assholes with armor and weaponry. No matter what they were known for here so long as the populace were sent a message that was all that mattered. "I do believe I'll get myself a better view.." He muttered, climbing out of the window and leaping down to the grass below. He leaped over the heavy gate and into the street on the other side, soon making his way over to a building and scaling it; using his claws to dig into the brick when there was nothing else to grip onto. Here he would simply start slowly walking along buildings, jumping from vantage point to vantage point, observing the chaos and waiting for a particular point of interest to intervene in and perhaps get a nice meal.
