The wings must have come with a strange mutation to his brain as well because he made Lysander seem like a coward with the amount of overconfidence he oozed. Comparing himself to the gods was a weird touch. The gas mask kid seemed too busy to respond but everything got a little too quiet after a bit. Lysander didn’t know how to respond to what the winged kid said. Acion was a cool name but his attitude made talking a bit awkward. Luckily he was saved. The supposed protagonist of the class jumped into action, rallying all the students who didn’t seem like they were too into combat training. It was the stuff of dreams, and a perfect chance for Lysander to show off his enhanced strength that his quirk gave him. He ditched Acion rather quickly and ran up to Kenichi, dropping down behind him and hoisting him up as his speech ended, carrying him on his left shoulder. He pumped his right hand into the air. ”Let’s show this guy who the hell we are today! Kenichi’s right, we’re here for a reason and if we have someone like my main man right here then we must be in the right place. I’m no protagonist but I sure as hell expect to be part of the main cast! My name is Lysander, and I plan on being someone you proudly tell your kids you went to school with someday, and I sure as hell expect to tell my kids how proud I am to know you guys too, now who’s with us?!” Lysander said. He had a lot of improv training over the years and monologues just happened to come naturally to him. He would gesture to Kenichi every time he mentioned him and pumped his fist in the air at the end, being careful the entire time to not let any of them touch Kenichi. He was doing his best to share the spotlight with Kenichi, not trying to steal his thunder. He didn’t agree with what Toni had said earlier that day. Spotlights weren’t just for a single person, theaters were built with more than one for a reason and this was it. It was Kenichi’s moment to shine and Lysander wanted to help, but it was his moment as well. There was no fight over who deserved to be in the eyes of everyone, as they were both in the same spot, and both just as deserving, if not mostly Kenichi. He looked Toni in the eyes and smiled. ”We can all fit under one spotlight, right Toni?” He grinned the most smug anime girl grin a man could muster. [@Zeroth][@McFazzer][@Conscripts]
