[@Sophrus] Honestly? Not really, he's a mercenary without much exposure to the psykers of the Imperium, so he wouldn't know one based off the implants alone. Far as a casual glance would tell him, it's just a weird dude with a staff. Even a closer look, he might notice the implants, but he wouldn't know the significance of them, so until powers come up, he would just have him pegged as a stranger with strange implants.
