However, once she entered a fight, she wouldn't hesitate to unleash her powers onto the enemy. When angry, she would show it by her glare. She believed that holding your anger inside instead of releasing it would make you strong. She knew what she wanted and she would not hesitate to obtain that goal. However, this didn't mean that she would do anything she could to reach it as she had her own moral compass that she would not betray. Plot Summary of Original content: Genre= Action, Fantasy On the late 19th century, a comet passed above the skies of Earth. Little did the people know that it weakened the boundary between worlds, allowing magic to seep into Earth, awakening magical capabilities of certain magic-capable people. Soon after, sightings of monsters turned common in various parts of the world, as creatures from another world came to Earth as the crack got bigger. And one orphan servant in London ended up battling those creatures as she was one of those who had awakened her magical abilities. Backstory: Soon after, strange-looking humans with elven ears appeared out of nowhere as well, wielding powerful magic as they declared war on the various nations on Earth. They came from the elven empire from the other world, ordered by their Queen to take over Earth. In the end, she managed to repel their invasion and met with the Queen herself. After a long and terrible battle, she managed to triumph. However, instead of returning to the real world, she decided to stay there and became the new queen of the elves, with the blessing of the old as she was glad a wonderful mage like her ended up beating her. Someone also had to close the portal from the other side after all. If not, the nations of the world would get their hands on the many advanced magitech the empire had and it would spell doom and chaos for the real world. Another reason was that she ended up liking the fantastical world more than the real Earth, and now she was free to rule and shape it as she wished to. The reception of this work, titled, "Child of Fantasy: Birth of The Midnight Star", was quite positive. From its original novel form, it quickly gained traction before being adapted to manga and then anime. The author originally intended it to be more of an all-ages fantasy work, but it ended up being popular with the magical girl enthusiasts crowd, thanks to its heroine and her serious, mature, brazen, and at times ruthless personality, a far cry of your usual magical girl lead. The director of the anime knew this and designed the anime to pander more to the crowd, adding fanservice scenes like her being topless while changing clothes and her constant bloomer shot while in combat thanks to her flying around in a dress. The author didn't think at all for those scenes being fanservice since the former were in the novel (though not described in the detail, obviously) and the latter would only be a logical thing to happen. So imagine the author's surprise when she found out about all the not-so-wholesome doujin that came out once the anime aired. She was quite disgruntled about the fact. She didn't intend her work to be for such crowd after all. Weapons, Powers & Abilities: She carried with her a medium-length blade coated with darkness named "Midnight Star". The blade glowed with an eerie purple, and anyone who was wounded with it would feel fear and terror seep into their heart, terror against its user. She could manifest and dismiss the blade at will. Her innate abilities would be flying and turning herself into a cloud of darkness momentarily. The cloud would feel cold to the skin. Her transformation to the cloud has no time limit, but she couldn't use her sword attacks or spells while in said form. Her offense ability is basically limited to entering someone's lungs and choking them to death, but of course, she could only use it against normal people. She is immune to physical attacks but she can still be harmed by magic. The ability is mostly for surveillance and retreat, as she could just fit herself into the little nooks and crannies. Also easy evasion against physical attacks if she's overwhelmed. However, it took her around one second to turn into said cloud and one minute of full concentration to turn back. Her spells would be: 1. Blessing of the Midnight Star = She summoned a rain of purple blades towards her enemy, same color as her sword and with the same effect. 2. Protection of the Midnight Star = She summoned a barrier of purple darkness, protecting her from most attacks. However, she couldn't attack herself while the barrier was still up, so she would need to create a hole in the barrier every time she wanted to launch and attack. She could also cast the spell at others. 3. Fell Wind of the Death Goddess = Her ultimate attack. She would conjure a dark tornado that would rip apart the souls of anyone that stood in its gust. She could control which souls would be destroyed however, as well as making the tornado merely a light, chill breeze that wouldn't do any damage to its surroundings, making her not having to worry about collateral damage. The weaker the wind however, the weaker the effect.
Author: Chiba Real Name: Mamoru Chiba Age: 25 Gender: Female

Appearance Name: Marin Age: 10 Gender: Female Race: Human Personality: Originally, before she was whisked away to the world of Gaea, she was just an ordinary bright and cheerful little girl. But now, after all that she had been through, she had gained somewhat of a rough edge. She kept her kind heart and optimism however, even when tears fell down from her eyes. She didn't turn into a pessimist who only lived for her own. She would still try to do good even though when it seemed the entire world was against her. She can be quite stubborn, even against Leviathan. Plot Summary of Original content: Vessel of the Dragon God Marin was just another ordinary elementary school kid, albeit with an unusual hair and eye color. She was pretty popular, having many friends (and suitors too!). She was also the top ranked student in her class and she was no slouch in sports either. And with her having a loving and doting parents, she pretty much had the perfect life. One day however, all that ended when a bright light suddenly appeared on the sky, enveloping the entire school she was a student in. When the light subsided, they soon found out that they were no longer in Tokyo anymore, with the school being surrounded by trees as if they were in a middle of a forest. Marin, however, was sent to an empty white room first. And when she opened her eyes, she saw a massive red dragon looking straight at her with its eyes. Backstory: At first, it sounded like your usual isekai story, with the MC getting a super special power once she entered the fantasy world. However, you soon know that it was nothing of the sort when the dragon refused to grant Marin any powers. Even as she begged him with tears in her eyes to save her school friends (they can communicate with each other at any time), the school was overrun with monsters from the forest soon enough, he was content with merely watching, watching as Marin's friends and teachers were brutally slaughtered. Her childhood friend even died for nothing protecting her, as the dragon had granted her protection from the monsters. The dragon's reason? "You are the only one I have chosen. No one else matters." She ended up escaping to the forest, where she proceeded to get lost for a week, slowly getting weaker and weaker as she starved. Once again, the dragon stood by. He even found it a curious sight as he never saw a starving human before. In the end, she managed to escape, fainting right in the middle of a village bordering the forest. You'd think she would be safe here, but alas, her odd-coloured hair and eyes made the villagers think of her as a demon child. They would've killed her in the spot if not for the village elder deciding to sell her into slavery instead, as she could fetch a pretty nice price to help the poor village go on, thanks to her unique look. And thus started Marin's new life in Gaea. It had been 100 years after the defeat of the Demon Race and humans ruled supreme over the other races. But instead of the everlasting peace the humans of that age thought they would have once the demons were gone, the world now was still filled with conflict, with human kingdoms feuding with each other, slaver companies freely invading the lands of the non-humans and kidnapping their people, and ignorant peasants and greedy nobles staring at each other with hatred. And just her luck, Marin had been chosen to become the vessel of the reincarnated Demon God, the Red Dragon Leviathan. The dragon wished to learn from her first the life of a human and what made them be able to become strong enough to defeat him 100 years ago. He didn't really care if his vessel was suffering. And perhaps it would make it even better as he could observe how she would struggle through all that suffering. As so volumes after volumes, readers get to see Marin explore the world as she struggled from place to place. In the latest volume, it was discovered that she was the vessel of the dark god, so now the human kingdoms and the Church of Light were all chasing after her. To make matters worse, the Church of LIght had summoned heroes of their own, and when Marin was running away from them was when she was brought to the Land of the Gods. And yes, she carries Leviathan with her too. Weapons, Powers & Abilities: Weapon: None. She's too little to carry any weapons with her. Innate Abilities: 1. Dragon Skin = Obtained from Leviathan, this grants her resistance to both physical and magical attacks. She still feels the pain however. Will activate when she's attacked by a mortal blow, 2. Draconic Aura = Lets out a faint draconic aura that someone sensitive to it can detect. Normally no one would notice it. Spell list: Here are the spell she could cast without Leviathan's help: 1. Fireball = Create a small fireball that she can control. 2. Fire Spout = Blow flames from the palm of her hands. The size and range were not large at all and the flame strength is pretty weak. 3. Minor Healing = Can close minor wounds like a gash. When Leviathan decided to help her however, the level of her strength increases dramatically. 1. Meteor = Summons a shower of burning molten rocks. 2. Lava Surge = Summons surges of lava from the ground 3. Ultimate Regeneration = Can heal to the point of regenerating missing body parts like hands or legs and even heads. Used first on Vol 3 when Marin lost her right arm. 4. Draconic Transformation - Transforms into Leviathan himself. This is pretty much his last resort move. Used at Marin's first battle against the Hero of the Divine Axe. Weapon first, then innate abilities, then a spell list. If one or more do not apply to your character, leave them empty. Author: Hikawa Real Name: Haru Kanasawa Age: 35 Gender: Male
