Round 2, let's go
Under the hood his face is covered by a dark iron mask and the voice underneath it is echoed and distorted. The color of his cloak changes freely to match those that he has aligned himself with. Name: Rook Dalliard (not known to the readers) Age: 27 Gender: Male Race: Human Personality: Rook Dalliard is an irredeemable coward. Given a fair fight he will run or cheat rather than take it head on. This is something that he has become very good at. That said, he will be true to his word and not leave any task undone. Rook embraces his new fame and has taken to the deceit with enthusiasm and a newfound skill in acting. His cowardice has lessened over time, if only slightly. Rook will now tackle fights with more focus and drive, planning engagements to give himself as much of an advantage as possible. He is not arrogant nor entirely humble but instead walks a fine line in the middle. The stories he tells of his deeds have only the slightest of embellishments but Rook won't refute any claims about him made by others. Rook is also very free with his money and enjoys drinking, gambling and fighting when nothing but his pride is at stake. Plot Summary of Original content: Tyrant Sword [Fantasy][Military][Action] King Slayer. Massacre Knight. Tyrant Sword. For hundreds of years there have been stories of a mercenary that takes money to accomplish impossible tasks and slay mythical monsters. A myriad of stories are are whispered around campfires and over drinks, sometimes by himself. He is a hero to those he fights alongside and a villain to those against him. To himself, he is a fraud. Backstory: A decade ago in the chaotic aftermath of a battle a mere foot soldier, sick with fear and confused by the mind numbing panic he was experiencing, struck down a knight from behind. The face behind the the black iron mask was withered and old. Certainly not that of the ageless, peerless warrior the stories told of. So he stole the armour, the sword, and the small fortune in gold coins left with it and fled. The foot soldier took up the guise of the Tyrant Sword, finding his way through trial, error, and the help of the old knights notebook. Eventually the funds run low and he is forced to find work. Of course the Tyrant Sword can't just take on any job and this imposter is thrown into conflicts that decide the fates of nations and battles with terrible monsters to save captive princesses. Slowly he traces back the true history of the role he has taken and the secrets that the sword and armour hold. As much as he shapes the future of the Tyrant Sword, it's past shapes him as well. Weapons, Powers & Abilities:

The Laughing Blade: A weapon of grey steel that looks as ancient as it is, despite the pristine edge. Aside from it's utility as a mundane weapon, the Laughing Blade burns with it's own cold fury, lending it's wielder the strength to match a perceived threat and leveling the field. It possesses a meager will of it's own, expressing itself in fits of mental laughter to anyone nearby as the situation becomes more dire. The sword desires battles of skill and will. The more equal and 'pure' a conflict, the more enjoyment it finds.
The Fleshsteel Armour: A set of armour that repairs itself and heals the one that wears it. As a consequence of this, damage to the armour is mirrored underneath it to a degree.
Ability: The Living Legend: As the Tyrant Sword travels the world he spreads his story. And the story has a power of it's own. Embellishments that have been added and spread begin to earn a life of their own, imbuing the knight with new strengths and characteristics featured in them. The two factors that affect this are belief and popularity. A tale must be credible enough to believe and widely known for it to have any effect. Something too incredible or simply one with a bad plot would simply be a tall tale. This ability affects him in the real world as well, blending popular pieces of fan fiction into his story. Like in his own world it requires both a margin of truth and popularity to be of any use.
