Mizu sat up, looking around the clearing. She could swear she heard... [i]a noise.[/i] She didn't know what the noise was, and that was precisely why she was unsettled. She stared into the treeline for a moment.

Stare. [i]Staaaaaare.[/i]

And as quick as that it seemed she had decided there was no trouble to be had nearby. She grinned as if she had succeeded at some great task, and then kicked a nearby pebble. Her stomach rumbled. It was a quiet day in the forest, it seemed.

Time to head into the city to get some cakes!
