Viktor Polzinov was born to Lidiya and Kolvo Polzinov as the eldest child, shortly followed by a pair of twin girls. Viktor never got along with any of his family, so when he was able to leave to attend university, he did not hesitate. Getting in was easy enough, but he felt very underappreciated in his placement. In an attempt to gain appreciation, he flew to New York. When that didn't work, he dropped out of college, and being out of money, Viktor went to work as a bartender. He now lives in a simple studio apartment with his rats Lovno and Nico, writing in his free time and bartending 8 hours a night.
