[@Hazy] [@sassy1085] Xade pulled her attention back to the present, pleasantly--or unpleasantly--surprised; she wasn't quite sure which way she should feel at the unexpected development. Her mother sent her here to fix her, not to make friends but Xade did have a bad habit of not doing what she was demanded. An odd smile appeared on her face. Odd not because of her face but due to the fact that she wasn't in the habit of smiling very often. Her eyes scrutinized the two who had addressed her. The first was a boy with short, light brown hair; he didn't seem at all afraid to say the things he thought as he immediately asked who her mother was. The second was a meek looking girl with flowing golden tresses; she seemed less sure of herself but had a more noble countenance. Xade knew that her world was about to get a whole lot bigger at this school. After her quite thorough assessment of the situation, Xade finally interrupted the unpolished smile with a response. "Oh, no, she's not an actress per say, though she is particularly good at changing the way she looks to suit the occasion. Have you not heard of Queen Grimhilde?" Here she gave a deep bow in greeting as she was taught to do. "And my name is Xade Grimhilde." She stopped here, their questions answered. It couldn't have occurred to her previously that it would be wise to keep her parentage hidden. Xade was of the understanding that the Queen--while cold and calculating--was not a bad person, but then that was what she had been taught to believe.
