Far too often they wear the skin of Man."}

Ayita scrunched up her nose as she watched. The mouse in her wanted to curl away and wait for the massive creatures to pass by and drop food, but that was not to be. She did not for one second believe she could take both Quicksilver or the Witch. No, that would be worse than to take a pack of winter starved wolves. She was tempted to recoil from it all and report back- as would be wise. Not for the moment she wished for the form of a serpent. Of the poison bite. It would be very useful to have at a time. But there was a roar and Starkette had turned about in the frame, most likely to deal with it. She gave a squeak of alarm. A form building in her mind's eye. Quick reactions to deal with the opponents, and it would be have to be strong enough to break bones. Her human mind gave a cruel chuckle, the runner couldn't run if he didn't have the bones to run on. It wasn't something the Professor or any of the other would approve of... But she was a monster for a reason. Her preferred choice would be a hyena, with that lovely jaw. But it wasn't in her small gathering of knowledge. A bear wouldn't have the quickness, though they would have the strength. No, her best option would be a wolf. Annoying and limited as it was. Not for the first time she wished she had some telepathic ability. Mentally torn between warning Marygold and watching Starkette's back. Her mouse form quivered as it debated on what to do. The cost of not warning the others would be they would be caught by surprise. On the other hand, she could leave Starkette vulnerable to an attack. That would not be good. She ran her head into a wall, humans were so foolish! If she left Starkette they would probably think her a coward for abandoning her. If Ayita didnt' take the intel to the others they would think her a loose cannon. Which was slightly true at times. Why couldn't they invent something for a mouse for talk to other people? She scratched her ears, her tail twitching as she glowered at Starkette. Waiting for her move so then she could go tell Marygold or for one of the twins to attack Starkette. If the latter happened Ayita was fully prepared to launch herself out and take form of a wolf to give a good snapping to the offender. Hopefully the Shield Agent would topple out the window without the twins seeing her. Hopefully.
