Door after door. Dead end after dead end. Every step just made him feel more turned around than the last. He didn’t understand how he had gotten so lost. When Diana had gone into the Dungeon he followed close behind, yet somehow they got separated. Now all the spirit could do was roam the endless halls and hope to find his way. And yet, it wasn’t the feeling of being lost that made him uncomfortable; it was the feeling of being alone. There were no sounds in the distance, no indication that there was anyone nearby, it was all unnerving to the ghost. Worst of all was how spacious these hallways actually were. It gave a sense that something was missing. Something should be filling these voids. It reminded him all too well of where he came from, the ghost town where he lived in solitude for Deva knows how long. Needless to say it was not a good time in the gunslingers life, and he wasn’t fond of his memories returning there. Unfortunately, his mind wouldn’t be the only place taking him there. Ascending a small stone staircase he came across, Omega quickly found the stone had turned into a rusty and corroded metal. Seeing a door at the top, he opened it to find himself face to face with the town he had just been thinking of. Though he didn’t know it’s origins, one could guess it was a failed Machina settlement, most likely an attempt to grab some unclaimed lands. Every structure was in disrepair. All the grass was overgrown, and not a single piece of equipment was functional. It was just how he remembered it, and it terrified him. “Aw hell!” Omega muttered before immediately turning to leave only to find the door he had gone through now belonged to one of the structures. Upon looking it, he found it only lead inside the ruined building with no sign of the staircase in sight. Once that was confirmed he ran everywhere, checking all the buildings, trees, and bushes to see if there was an exit. Nothing. There was no way out of here. Overwhelmed by fear and panic Omega dropped to his knees and put his hands on his head. He couldn’t be trapped here. Not again. He refused! In a fit of rage Omega drew his revolvers and began firing in every direction. This turned out to do the trick as each bullet shot through the illusion and destroyed sections of the roses. After a few seconds of the bullet storm, the illusion faded and Omega was left standing in a large empty stone room. Still shaken from the experience, he almost didn’t see Endian fly passed a doorway. Running into the hall Omega aimed his revolver and fired a warning shot that nearly grazed Endian’s head.
