Ezra
Ezra was quite surprised to hear what the girl was stating. He didn't know her name, her story or anything about her but in that moment he had shown more sympathy toward others than he had in his entire life. He listened to what she had to say, and whilst he knew it wasn't wholly true, he let out a smile. He knew that type of person, and he knew for a fact that they would think they said something that displeased him if he didn't smile. He figured he'd let her lie to herself until the end of the exam, where he could hopefully have a more heartfelt conversation with her. He waved as he was summoned by the team that he was placed upon. He didn't really have many feelings about the team he was placed upon. Yes, he had a transfer student and the fat looking one, but he didn't tend to judge people based on appearances or anything else. If anything, he was excited to prove himself. Even if it was less about the combat and more about the teamwork, less optimal teammates made him feel as if his performance would be noted a lot more win or lose. Around when he was standing with the team and discussing strategy was when he heard the fatter student speak out. He spoke about going alone to point B and digging. The concept sounded pretty smart up until he spoke about throwing a rock at them. This was when something clicked in his mind about an intelligent use of his quirk where he began to pick up stray rocks and pebbles off the floor, and put them in his sleeves. Whilst he was annoyed by it, he had a clever plan in mind and was excited to see how it could work in a real scenario. He figured this would be a good time to explain his quirk to his teammates as well. "Well, I guess I'll go next if ya'll don't wanna. I'm Ezra, in case ya hadn't clocked. Wasn't tryna be quiet an all but I was thinkin'. Anywho, I'll explain my quirk for the sake of better teamwork. I hope to work well with you all and win this." he spoke in an extremely bland tone. He was definitely not as fired up or focused as the others, but he was clearly in thought and planning. "My quirk has the ability to speed up anything that I've touched for 3 seconds. I can control the amount something is accelerated." he spoke, not really feeling the need to explain the mechanics behind it. That was all that was really needed to know to work with it. He took glances at his teammates and gauged their power levels. Kenichi was a lot of talk, but he was definitely one of the strongest in the squad. The metal kid was decently strong, and he had an uneasy feeling about Donny. He spoke as if he was helpless and had no confidence, but he felt as if he was hiding something. He couldn't for the life of him however gauge the hooded kid. Whilst his quirk seemed to be versatile, he wasn't in the hero classes from the get-go which made him question things especially considering that he sincerely doubted the power level of a lot of those in the hero course, so for someone to not even make the cut made him curious in that regard.
