Alicia Hayden The week, as it so happened, and been fairly uneventful. Alicia had met with Penny a couple times in the name of getting to know her better. She had also helped with Janet's training when necessary to bring her more into the lifestyle that Beacon espoused. And there was the usual patrols, hunts, that sort of thing. Nothing which indicated that anything was amiss. Yet she knew that that wasn't the case. Things were getting more tense, Beacon members getting harassed by other girls closer to their turf, and not even the kind that were necessarily monsters or dark magical girls either. The incident at the park had poisoned the well, and the fact of the matter remained that there wasn't exactly any way for Beacon to earn peoples trust back when they couldn't exactly make a show of their good intentions. The decentralization didn't help, much less the hardliners within the organization itself. She'd done some asking around herself, but what she found out wasn't of much use. They had the body of the girl that had sparked the incident but hadn't been able to bring her back alive obviously. Well, if you didn't mind the rumors that the corpse was a fake. But that was patently ridiculous. What kind of fake could be created that could trick the brightest minds that Beacon had? That was just the problem when dealing with magic. There were too many possibilities for how this incident had happened to account for them all. And unfortunately Occam's Razor meant that they didn't exactly get the benefit of the doubt. Still, at that point she had to leave it be. Surely the Beckoners were working on it, and it didn't seem like there was any room to contribute when she had no evidence to go on. All that they could do was focus on protecting their own, and making sure that Beacon stood ready for whatever hardship came its way. They might be hated but they still had their unity and their loyalty to each other. As long as they had that, they would be strong. At the moment, she was on patrol. Well, not so much patrol as a reconnaissance mission. There'd been rumors of a monster girl nest encroaching on Beacon turf, one of those groups that had decided they wanted to be a bit bolder now that Beacon was on the backfoot. That was why she was here now, to see whether it was true and how much of a problem it would be. If they were gonna be raising trouble then they would have to be dealt with. Simple as that. She was currently in her civilian guise as she walked down the busy sidewalk, glancing at the sticky not with the address on it. It was after school and she was on the move now, much like everyone else. The hope was that the monster girls would be out doing monster girl things at the moment, allowing her to sneak in and look the place over before they got back. She might find some evidence that would make the decision easier and more factually supported. "Guess this is is." The girl came to a stop in front of an old garage, where they had set up shop. It gave them some privacy while still having access to people that they might need. Alicia moved into the alley without hesitation, slipping towards the back as she searched for windows. Those she would use to see if anyone was there at the moment, while she also looked for potential magical signatures. Either would validate what she had been told. A nod to herself as she arrived in back. "looks like no one is home." It was nice when things went to plan. Arriving at the back door, she tested to see whether it was locked before moving to force the lock open if she had to. Once inside she would begin hr investigation of the place, to see if there was anything that indicated hostile intent. She hadn't imagined breaking and entering would be par of her career as a magical girl, but for this it couldn't be helped. Time to get to work
