The Godhand vs Knight Sylvestre
The metal man burst forwards with surprising speed, jabbing the polearm with such ferocity that it was all she could do to deflect the blows. Though he had a range advantage over her, that advantage was moot if she stayed just out of reach of his polearm. It was fortunate that he did not have two weapons; she had no way to actually deflect two weapons at the same time. It reminded her that she absolutely hated fighting men like these. Any skilled thugs can be a pain to deal with, but a determined man who thinks he has something worth fighting for was a nightmare to fight. Even if their cause was wrong, even if what they did was against her beliefs, these sort of men were hard to rile up into making mistakes, and like the metal man in front of her, often had something or other up their sleeve to help them. Sensing an opening when the knight overextended on one of his swings, Juniper moved to take advantage of it, only to find the knight stepping in himself, glimmering with light, moving faster than she expected. Unable to react in time, his fist slammed into her side. Sucking in her breath, she threw a punch at him as well, striking the instinctively raised shield with incredible force, sending him sliding a few meters back. He gave his dented shield a brief incredulous look before focusing his attention back to her. That one blow and the numbness from his shield arm was enough to tell him that his armor would not help much against her. It was akin to trying to block a mace's, or even a warhammer's sheer destructive force. Juniper kicked up the polearm into her hand, before throwing it back towards the knight, who caught it readily. Ignoring the pain of the punch and her previous wounds sending jolts of pain through her body, she simply gave him a beckoning gesture. "Well? Show me a good time, knight!"
