Welcome to my interest check! First of all, let me introduce myself. I’m FaithfulMuse, Faith for short, a 23 year old student from Holland looking for a few fun roleplays to keep me entertained in my free time. I’m a bit of a geek/dork, especially when it comes to superhero and fantasy stuff. I’m a fan of DC although I may not know all about all the characters, but also love Marvel. Aside from that, I love fantasy, no matter in what setting, and love to read about greek mythologies and whatnot. I’m also quite fond of watching Netflix in my spare time, adult colouring books, drawing and every so often I also like to read. I love OOC chat, so if we’ll be doing a roleplay together, feel free to send me a friendly message.
-As a girl, I do prefer the female roles, but am of course always willing to double and by doing so, work on roleplaying male characters. -When it comes to posting length, I consider myself somewhere between mid to high casual, but am working on creating longer posts. Two paragraphs per post is good to me, but I’d also be happy with longer posts and will try to match what I’m given. -Proper spelling and grammar are important to me. Yes, I understand that you might make a few mistakes every so often, and that autocorrect might screw something up if you write on your phone. I really won’t hold that against you. But if I have to decipher each post I receive as if it’s written in hieroglyphs, then that’s a real dealbreaker to me. -I’m an adult, and I can handle violence, gore, smut and swearing, as long as it’s not the main focus of the rp. Sure, I’m fine with a sex scene every so often or whatnot, but I’m not up for porn/horror roleplays. -Please try to post at least three times a week. I prefer one post a day, at least, but I understand that life might get in the way. -I prefer rping using pms, but if you prefer threads, I’m okay with that, too. -Have you lost interest, won’t be able to post for a while or not all anymore? That’s fine, I understand and I won’t get mad. All I ask I that you let me know. -If you have read the rules, please tell me which ice cream flavour is your favourite. -Are you interested? That’s great! Please send me a pm rather than posting here, since I check my inbox more often than threads.

Fantasy: I’m a sucker for fantasy rps, whether it be medieval, modern, high or low fantasy, I’m all up for it. From witch hunts to beastmasters, centaurs and pixies, I’m up for anything when it comes to fantasy. Romance: This is not usually a main focus for any of my rps, but if our characters hit it off, then I love to always add a bit of romantic tension into the plot. Slice of life: Not my greatest interest but every once in a while, I’m up for it. I especially like rps concerning situations such as a best friend helping the other through recovery after they have suffered from a horrible accident, or two unlikely figures meeting and becoming surprisingly fond of each other Superhero: I love characters with superpowers, whether they might use them to make the world a better or a worse place. However, this is currently not my greatest interest. Sci-fi: I love the idea of a distant future, in which mankind has created artificial intelligence, found intelligent forms of life on different planets, terraforming… I’m not too experienced with this genre, though! Post-apocalyptic: I rarely have good ideas for this genre, but that doesn't mean that I don't enjoy writing of characters trying to survive in a wasteland that used to be part of a civilisation!

You’re a witch hunter. You have done and seen terrible things being done to women, they were too many to count. And they all died horribly. You watched them burning at the stake, their screams deafening your ears. Now, it’s finally over, all of them are gone and you can live a peaceful life. Or at least, that’s what you keep telling yourself. Yet, this woman in front of you, with her skin decorated with burn scars and charred clothes, seems too real to be a nightmare.

You, along with your crew, have arrived on a new planet with the mission to explore the place and report what you have discovered. In the distance you notice two moving silhouettes, almost looking human, but not quite. As they come closer, they start to look more and more horrific. You ready your weapon to fight this thing off the second they get too close, until you notice how one is clutching their side, from which a deep purple slime is oozing. “please,” A voice sounds from your intergalactic translator. “You must help us.”

Of course, I know that it might sound silly, but on the night of Halloween, you’d almost think that some of these dressed up people are actually the real thing. What if not everyone is dressed up, but some of them are actual monsters seizing the opportunity to spend some time in our world, like a fun night off? You wouldn’t think of it to be true, but when you wake up next to the gorgeous woman who was dressed up as a djinn last night, you realise that after she has taken a shower, what you assumed to be body paint isn’t washed off. “I like it here,” She speaks, looking at you as she puts her ‘costume’ back on. “I think I might stick around in this city for a while.”

Many years have passed and the world has changed, but not for the better. Chemical waste, nuclear power plants, radioactivity and nuclear warfare have all added to the destruction of the earth we had become so fond of. This planet is nothing more than a wasteland now, with its’ toxic, hazardous climate effecting animals and humans alike. Many were immune to the changes, but not all, and the changes they went through were not just painful, but made them a horrendous sight as well. The symptoms were existed of a wide variety, but humans with one hand turned into a claw, skin rotting away, an eye missing from the socket, gills showing at the neck, skin deformities and messed up body proportions were amongst many of the sightings. The mutants were hunted and the few that survived, claimed a place to hide. Soon, it would become their territory and nobody dared to set foot there. They learned how to defend themselves, and became lethal. Now that you are standing back to back with one, surrounded by monstrous looking animals, you can only hope that if you survive, she’ll forgive you for accidentally entering their territory.

In a large fantasy world, there exists a group of elves, living in a village where everything that is part of nature is respected and valued. There is no unneeded use of natural products, letting all live unless there is no other option. To those elves, marriages is a sacred, special bond between two elves, that is never to be broken until death. To those elves, divorce is taboo and not possible, no matter the circumstances. But what if you’re married, and your marriage is nothing but a true hell? What if your once beloved spouse has turned into a monster, giving you nothing but bruises and scars that you attempt to hide from the rest of the world? Or what if you are yelled at every single night, reduced to an unconfident mess who cries himself asleep every single night? What if your life would be so much better without them? You see, elves like that have come up with a solution to this problem. They have formed a group of assassins, who help each other to kill their beloved ones so that they can become happy again. Some people are too weak, or still have feelings for their partner and request that someone else kills their partner, of course giving something in return, while others do it themselves. So, regardless of your role in this all, how did you react when a young elven female entered this secret society of assassins?
That’s what I have for now. I know, it’s not much, and I do apologise for that, but I promise that there’s more to come.
Don’t find anything that interests you in here? Don’t worry, I’m open to a lot of genres, pairings and whatnot! Feel free to send me a pm and see if we can find something that interests us both! Hopefully I’ll hear from you soon!
