Personality:
Nick is, for all intents and purposes, an average man of an average society: polite, kind and outgoing. He is, however, very interested in extraspecies and their lives and cultures. He still stays true to his interests even if it gave him much trouble in his life.

Occupation: Part-timing odd jobs

History: 
Nicholas was just an average person and led an average life until the Cultural Exchange Between Species Bill was announced and the whole world was made aware of the existence of creatures that were thought to be myth and legend. Nick was the first to voice out his awe and wonder at the existence of the extraspecies but unfortunately, everyone around him did not share his opinion. His family and community had... wildly different views about these new peoples and effectively disowned Nicholas.

Once Nicholas found a place to settle down and got a stable job, he volunteered for the Cultural Exchange Program to finally meet an extraspecies as well as to put another soul in his house. But misfortune struck again when Nick's boss fired him once he found out he was part of the Cultural Exchange Program.
