Even if he did have a witty retort, it was of no consequence. The only one Alexandros would even acknowledge was the brown beauty that had caught his eye. And it from her mouth that he more or less got a confirmation that his plan of approaching her had been a whopping success. He would get her time of day in ten minutes. “Very well,” Alexandros raised his glass to the women but specifically the object of his attention, “I’ll be waiting.” He spoke with his slight Italian-Greek accent as he left the group of ladies and worm to their devices. Over the course of the next ten minutes, Alexandros would mingle with a few guests, hit on a few ladies. Pretty much he did what he could to pass the time. He had another drink after he had finished his first one. After a few more minutes of conversing with the guests, Alexandros needed a breather. There was only so much he could take of the lower-level worms of the Upper East Side, so he would head out to the balcony. As he did, that familiar sultry voice called out to him. It wasn’t by name, but more so a general “hey you” calling out as she came towards him. She handed him a glass and the two were out on the balcony. It was then she had introduced herself. “Huntsberg huh?” Alexandros seemed to remedy in that. The irony that the one person he would single out was the daughter of the man who was responsible for his being at the party. “No doubt you are the daughter of Arthur Huntsberg,” Alexandros took a sip of his drink as he alternated glances from the Manhattan Skyline and a skyline much closer to him. “And yes, it is my pleasure, just like it is yours to be in the company of a - well, not a god, but very well close enough,” he grabbed her hand gently, kissing it, “Alexandros Mossos, no doubt you know of my father’s building,” Alexandros pointed to the skyscraper that read ‘Mossos’. Mister Mysterious might just have snuck a winning blow this round.[/sub]
