While she herself was not a native to the land, the tourist attractions struck her as gaudy and off putting. It was a shame how the tourist thoroughfares clogged up the main streets of Cairo, but Nora also supposed that the real joy was the journey. Nora's gentle pat of her hand was a comforting one, though her eyes widened slightly at the news that Neema had been at the dig in Bubastis. The more she learned about Neema, the more it struck her as odd that they would meet by chance. Nora did not believe in fate or destiny, yet for this to have been purely coincidence felt so strange. "Lady Munn did discover some tiles in the archives last night," Nora replied, giving more information to Neema. "I am sure she would be more than willing to allow us to search for more items of interest." Yet Neema hadn't just mentioned tiles. She had mentioned that other items were donated as well. How much of this puzzle was collecting dust in the museum, pieces that they had not thought to examine the previous evening? It would be a cruel twist of fate if everything they needed appeared to be in the museum already and an expedition to Bubastis was not needed. She giggled slightly at Neema's words about the cats. They did appear to be everywhere in Cairo, a fact that amused Nora's dog, Spot, to no end. It struck Nora as a bit odd that the cats seemed to be watching them, though she supposed that could easily be explained as paranoia. There was no reason to believe that the cats were watching the pair of them in particular, was there? And while Nora did favor dogs over cats, she could not deny how adorable the little felines were.
