I believe I've said this before on Discord, but basically the armor removes the need to consume food and use the facilities, as well as other mundane things like those, by feeding off of the wearer's life force(not quite to the point where one will die just by wearing it, though). He still needs to breathe and whatnot though, which is why the visor holes are there.
