"Mastiffs are my favorites.  They are actually the strongest as far as bite goes but the only time they will actually bite is if they can't use their size to keep you in one place.  The average bite force of a 200 pound mastiff is around 750 pounds but there are documented cases of them going over 1,000 pounds.  Only the largest alligator snapping turtles, alligators and crocodiles can claim a stronger bite force."

He smiles tossing the scrambled eggs into the pan.

"If I can't protect myself or somebody else, I would like to have a dog that can."
