The wiki is mostly about stuff from early-mid 2012. By the end of that year, we had found our form, and by 2013 we were taking it pretty seriously.

So don't worry about in-jokes. 

We will probably have to reintro characters, I suspect. Because the RP has been going on for so long, those of us who have been going with it already know the main characters pretty closely, but a new forum won't have that connection. So, [b] A note to everyone coming from the MCF, Remember to describe your characters again when you first introduce them, and insert biographical information when you can get away with it to get people up to speed.[/b]

...which reminds me, what we do is largely character based, in that we handle nations by following the people who make the decisions within them. Some of us have even went further than that and follow characters who aren't involved in the politics at all, but rather travel across borders and experience their own stories. There isn't any "France orders ten thousand ships built." posts. This isn't to say you have to follow a lot of characters - we have had players who only followed one or two.
