His skin is a copper brown and his eyes have a sense of impending violence behind the brown hues. His grin is unpleasant and cold, his mannerism crisp yet seemingly artificially constrained. His entire body is riddled with scars from his training, fights and some are self inflicted as a form of "meditation".
PERSONALITY TRAITS
Driven Ambitious Ruthless Perfectionist Violent Cold Relentless
BACKSTORY & MOTIVATION Deep within the Cambodian jungles there is a small, almost forgotten to the world monastery. Here, a sect of violent outcast monks have formed a twisted, hidden society. The are called The Phlauv Banlea or Thorned Path. They believed in one thing and one thing only: The Path of Perfection is through violence and pain. The Phluav Banlea was long considered nothing more than a myth, especially since the Red Khemer had already taken its place in history as Cambodias darkest stretch of history. As Pol Pot and the Red Khemer made history by commiting genoice, the the reclusive monks kept hidden and were content of being a shadow of the past. Indeed, they only ventured out when one of their disciples set out to attain something for them. It was at this monastery that a martial art prodigy by the name of Kravann would find his purpose in life. Kravann is a martial arts prodigy, the kind that only see the light of day every decade or so. He grew up in a small fishing village, where Martial arts was as much a way to meditate as it was to defend itself. His family was nothing special, and his father a strict but not unkind man. But he was weak and poor and so Kravann had to find his own fortune. He thought the way out was trough his god given talent for martial arts. He learned Bokator from a local Master, who saw the raw talent the boy possessed. Bokator is a Khemer style similar to kickboxing, and one of Cambodias oldest martial arts practises. But as he trained, the boy found it lacked substance, that it was empty somehow. A dark cloud of negative emotion began to grow over him like an ill omen. At the age of 9 he began to sparring with the older kids and by the age of 11 he was sparring with the teens. By the age of 12 he had his first real match against a boy from the local gym. The match ended in a quick victory as Kravann toe kicked the other boy so hard and so accurately in the solar plexus that the boy had to be hospitalized. After three more matches with the same result a year later, he was no longer allowed to compete as it felt he had a unfair advantage and used it to hurt rather then just win. Kravann was 15 by the time he left his village, feeling more then ever like something vital was missing. He moved around, staying at various gyms and dojos, absorbing techniques and styles like a sponge. He became the equivalent of a black belt in Pankak Silat, Bando and various styles native to the region. He also started to more or less headhunt local hot shots and big names, intent of testing his mettle. He left a trail of bodies behind him, often going so far to ending the career of promising talents and humiliating so called masters. All the while, that quiet feeling of something missing never left him. That was untill he came upon Haulong, A Korean born member of the Thorned Path. He had been following the young Kravann who was now 19 years old, his masters having taken an interest in the prodigy. He challenged Kravann, and not only beat him, but broke his arm in two places within the first minute of the fight. Kravanns response was to laugh like a caged hyena, demanding to know where he could learn to fight like that. At last, the boy seemed to have found the missing piece. Haulong considered this confirmation that they had found a new member and gave the boy directions, stating that only if he could find them would he be allowed to join. It took Kravann an year to get there, having to heal his arm as well as travel into the deepest Cambodian jungle. Once there, he set to learning the Thorned Path, finding at last that he found something that was aligned with his own interestes and reasons for learning martial arts. Here, he was run trough the ringer, nearly dying and always pushed to the very limits. Even sparring was like a fight to either death or surrender. Here he aquired scar after scar, exhilarated by the violence and the pain. Here he belonged at last. For 8 years he studied with them until he was considered good enough for the next step. Like Haulong before him, Kravann was to take another apprentice under his wing, and to do this he must travel the world to find someone as cruel and cold as him to teach what he knows. This was how the Thorned Path grew and how they made sure only like minded were ever able to find them. For Kravann, this task while bothersome, was neccerey. He does not care that much about passing on his knowledge, he has always thought himself the eternal student and still seeks to perfect himself and fully become the epitome of the Thorned Path. But the elders wishes him to mentor, and so he will. Thus he now seeks out Nomads to fight.
FIGHTING STYLE & ABILITIES

FIGHTING STYLE The Thorned Path employ a style referred to as Sechaktei Pit Hengsaa or “Violent Truth”. The style is all about causing breakage and pain in the enemy, employing powerful, ki disrupting strikes and bone breaking kicks. His movements are very economic, and his kicks and punches snap in the shortest possible angle of attack.
SPECIAL MOVES & TECHNIQUES Passive: Thorned Path Diciple: Being a practitioner of the Thorned Path; Kravann is all about pain, both causing and having it caused to him. The more pain he surrounds himself with or feel, the more powerful his Spear of Pain and Ki Destruption bbased attacks gets. These wil lbe marked with a *
■ *Bakbek/Broken Sight The most basic of ihs moves is Broken sight, which is a quick step in strike that smashed his palm to the opponents head. It can be blocked, but the ki strike will still dazzle and briefly impair your sight ‘Combo Starter’

■ kach chhaoeng/Rib BreakerUsually a follow upto Bakbek, Kravann drops low and jams his elbow in the opponent's ribs, knocking their breath out of them and causing severe pain.

■ damri staong/Elephant Stomping Channeling KI trough his legs, he stomps down the opponents foot, disrupting their movements and debilitating them.

■ *damri tich/Scorpion Sting A quick strike using his thumb, index and middle fingers to strike at an are on the body, disturbing the flow of ki, causing massive discomfort and lingering pain until the ki has been rebalanced.

■ *lompeng nei karchhucheab / Spear of Pain Channeling his ki trough out his arm, he thrusts it forward liek a spear, and indeed, launches a spearlike projectile of twisted, malignant ki. If hit, the victim is wrecked with immense pain and find using his own Ki difficult. The projectile is reasonably fast, but travels only in a straight line and can be dodged. Powers up the more pain Kravann is enduring or causing.

■ sva tralb / Monkey Flip Dodging low, Kravann uses his powerfull legs to deliver a ki-infused kick that launches the enemy upwards. ‘Combo Starter’

■ lot khla / Leaping Tiger Pouncing forward, Kravann swipes with his fingers like a claw, ki hardening his fingers so that he can literally tear flesh. Can be used to intercept airborn targets or opponents launched by the Sva Tralb.

■ Double Hammer Kick (can be used while in the air) The hammer kick is not part of the Thorned Path, but a old habit of Kravann from his past. Like most his moves, it is quick and powerful. The Hammer kick is like axe kick in that it comes dropping down from an fully extended leg. How ever, Kravann is able to pivot and deliver a second kick with his other leg just a second before should it miss or as the case is sometimes, when it goes right trough the opponent.

SUPER MOVES

■ *Embrace of Thorns Kravann moves quickly up close to a enemy and grasps them in a bear hug while manifesting 8 spears of pain around them both. He then hold on to the enemy while each spear impales them both. However, all the pain he feels is imminently transferred to the grabbed opponent.

■ *Rose of Death Surrounding himself with eight orbs of Ki, Kravann becomes empovered and fasted. His spears become targeted attacks that homes in on his target. FOr each time he hits ANYTHING and for each spear thrown, a orb is consumed. when all are consumed, the targets hit by enpowered attacks or spears, are briefly stunned by terrible pain.

WEAKNESSES & LIMITS
Combat Weakness: Pain is a rather double edged sword. While pushing him to his limits is dangerous, he is a slow starter in combat. His abilities are lacking the edge of Thorned Paths ramping power early.

OTHER

He is a vegetarian.

"Be glad you still feel pain, it means I let you live.” (Generic)
