The fast-moving scenery of the city flew by while Niyoki lazily gazed out. Drifting her eyes along various objects by the roadside, briefly focusing and examining the object before letting it go, only to refocus on a new item. That is how the hours passed while the yokai sat in the car taking her to whatever new home she was to live in. She hadn't quite understood the reason she was here specifically, especially since she's a Hokkaidan used to cold climates and not... this heat. Gritting her teeth, she decided to endure it for now and not annoy the poor driver. He's got to have it worse, wearing those warm suits inside this cauldron of a car. And he practically lives in this car too. Poor man. Sighing softly, the yokai decided to compare her own clothing to the driver's as a way to entertain herself as well as pitying the driver for doing his job. Indeed, his suit seemed to be made of wool, sticking to his form as if it sown perfectly for him and him alone. A stark contradtiction to her own rather loose clothing, a soft, red silk dress that hang loose down her body, reaching to her kneecaps. Held up by two straps, the dress began from just above her chests and in that particular region it was rather tightsitting, though there was nothing she could do to adjust that. It is not her fault she was the only Japanese with actually some volume, she concluded to herself. Either way, her clothing was light and loose, perfect for Summer weather, and with only a pair of beach slippers on, she completed her style. Sadly her loose clothing didn't protect her from the scorching sun that pierced the windowglass and struck her tender skin. Once again she looked over to the driver, her head arching sideways just slightly. She gave off a brief cough. And then she opened her mouth, "Draivah-san, window can down air, yes?" Her question was met with silence, and she could see in the mirror that he was frowning ever so slightly. Was her English really that bad? She gently tapped her cheek while her mind wandered. Right, now she remembered, she once decided to study English, only to never actually do it. Well, it can't be helped, if he didn't understand then she'll let it- Oh, the windows scrolled down. Niyo smiled brightly before gently placing her elbow out the open window. Her right arm gently tapped her thigh while her eyes gazed onto the streets that just became more and more tightknit before the car finally rolled up to a driveway. The sound of gravel getting crunched by the rubber tires rummaged through the dome on wheels, before the engine finally came to a stop. The sound of doors unlocking echoed before the door finally opened up, thanks to the driver's gracious help. Offering him a nod, she then pushed herself off the soft, comfortable leatherseats, before placing her pillars of legs down. The first thing she did after leaving the wagon was flinching at the shining sun, even offering a soft sneeze in reflex, before finally looking around. It was a fairly nice area, Noyi concluded, and she seemed to not be alone in standing out here either. That explains a lot, actually. She'd heard that another demihuman would be living with her as well, as if in an attempt to accomodate her to her new home. Hopefully that person would be a kind and friendly one too, Noyi thought while looking at the other person in the yard. Raising a hand up, she gently placed her index finger onto her lips with her head on a gentle tilt before breaking into a bright, friendly smile while waving at the person, "Ohayo! Is you new home? Am Noyi!" She attempted to ask. Again she worried she'd made herself understood while the agents began knocking on the door. Peering over to the door, she walked over with her head tilted while watching the large man fumble with getting the locked door open. A lock can stop a lot of things from entering, but hair is not one of them. Crouching down, her hair began fluttering while Noyi gently pushed the agent back a little, the hair sliding into the keyhole and before anything else, the door was unlocked. "If no door open, door open!" She stated pridefully while pushing the door open to the seemingly empty house... well, aside from the one closed room with fluttering lights.
